Not exactly surprising, is it! Lifelong Democrat, former senator, dedicated leftist hack. Hell, he’s an Obama dream come true!

I believe they can impeach and remove cabinet officials, but I don’t think it’s ever come to that. Generally the fact that cabinet officials are under that kind of fire drags the president down with them until ultimately they are ‘let go.’

It goes into your permanent personnel file in Human Resources Dept., and it follows you around forever! Oh noes!

I see.
I have to take it as a good thing that I didn’t holder my breath awaiting Eric the Black’s letting go...
Pun intended!

I don’t know, but it is a waste of government resources to have that Congressional jail cell sitting there unused!

Contempt citation...we don’t need no stinkin’ contempt citation!

What exactly is the consequence of being held in contempt of congress? About the same impact as the contempt held for Congress by most clear thinking Americans.

"the sincerity of its recent statements about wanting to reach a mutually agreeable accommodation"Sincerity is not a word that I would associate with any of Obozo's Gang of Thugs, but they are pursuing their agenda regardless of any costs.

What exactly is the consequence of being held in contempt of congress? You get a seat at the head table during state dinners, a medal for blind allegiance to the dear leader, a pass to section Z of the white house parking lot and Ophra's phone number.

What exactly is the consequence of being held in contempt of congress? If you're a member of the Obama administration, a jocular addition to your White House scrapbook.

I must admit that I have severe contempt for congress, especially the Cryer of the House.

When the DOJ is corrupt and will not prosecute Administration officials, just what can Congress do? These contempt citations emphasize just how toothless the GOP is. Only if they send the
Capitol Police after the miscreants or deny funding to the agencies harboring the fugitives will this have any meaning.
