Google Sadly Joins The Anti-Gun Brigade

Google is censuring information on guns and other products from Google Shopping. Sure, we know they once gave in to the Chinese government, but why are they censoring products used for self-protection by America’s gun owners?

> Nice try.... why anyone at FR uses anything related to those Commie loving bastards is beyond me.

Okay. Why anyone at FR would complain about one particular vendor of a service (shopping info) when there are plentiful other vendors to choose from is beyond -me-.

Use whatever shopping info site you prefer (or none, if you're like me). Ain't freedom of choice wonderful?

Let's thank God and the Founders that we still have some freedom of choice, despite the Democrats' attempts to limit it or take it away entirely.

> Will you join me in boycotting all grocery stores with an anti-gun selling policy?

LOL.

I noticed the other that the ads my dentist puts in the paper make no mention of auto mechanics services. I should be able to get my car serviced while I'm having my teeth worked on. Yet that bassturd dentist refuses to install a lift-bay next to the room with the dentist chair! It's an outrage!!

I hold a great hope that now that we have the precedent set with ObamaCare, the federal government can force my dentist to do this. I've got it! They can fine (oops, "tax") every dentist who DOESN'T put in a lift-bay. That sounds constitutional, right?

> Apple is as bad or worse about privacy. Yet many on FR have no problem with their love of liberalism\socialism.

Just as a minor point of fact, Microsoft is just as bad as Apple about supporting liberal causes (some years, worse), and their track record on how they actually run their business is certainly no better. They're both entitled to do so, of course, but it's something we all love to complain about...

But with MS's new restrictive (some say draconian) changes with Windows 8, reversing decades of relative openness with regard to how their partners implement their platforms, they've not only taken a few pages from Apple's closed-system book, they've surpassed them.

And the vast majority of FReepers use Windows.... just sayin'... :)

BTW, I'm a Unix-head, but I use both Windows and Apple machines daily at work and home. I don't have a dog in that fight.

My dislike for Google goes all the way back to the days of USAG Gonzales and his databases he wanted on peoples web searches etc. Google literally was saying we'll do it we'll do it rather than fight for it's customers rights too privacy. I use their sites as little as possible and do not click on their ads. When I'm on Firefox where I usually do my searches I keep google adds and snooping domains blocked.

I also seem to recall that when they came up with the idea of Google Earth they thought it fine and dandy to take pictures of persons PRIVATE property and post it on the web without owners consent or even knowledge. I bet the corporate officers estates though are not available. In short Google seems to have an arrogance that just annoys me.

[Google is Google and why anyone at FR uses anything related to those Commie loving bastards is beyond me.]

Well, I use it because Google was started with CIA seed money; and because every search on conservative terms exposes those charged with analyzing searches to conservative American ideals.

"...and the Truth will make you FRee"

Doublespeak or any other idiotic nitwittery doesn't change the fact that Al Gore's Google friends are Commie loving bastards...Now you're becoming more suspicious with each spam post to me.

Al Gore the Croney Capitalist Kleptocrat who tried to invent himself a fortune ala Carbon Credit trading?

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=Al+Gore+Carbon+Credit+scheme

That "Commie" loving Al Gore?

Commie fleecing perhaps.

Al Gore sounds more like someone who ooozed out of a proletariate-fleecing Croney Capitalist Kleptocratic "We'll invent ourselves a fraudulent new religion" mold ( like the one your Magic Rainbow RINO was produced by ) -- than an actual "Commie" lover.

And Google are all "Commies'.  LOL.

The fact is Google was started with CIA funding.

So,  are the CIA communists all the time in the lewislynnian/kolobian fantasy world - or just when you stop taking those medications?

That puts you squarely in the Obama camp of “you didn’t build that”.

No more so than recognizing the historical Truth about DARPAnet does.

Who built that?

What frequency is your Tin Foil tuned to?
