FReeper Canteen ~ Sunday Chapel ~ WINNERS vs LOSERS ~ 08 July 2012
Serving The Best Troops and Veterans In The World !! | The Canteen Crew

WINNERS vs LOSERS

When a winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”.
When a loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault”.

A winner always gives 110% no matter how big or small the task.
A loser is always “too busy” to do what is necessary and finds excuses.

A winner goes through a problem.
A loser goes around it, and never gets past it.

A winner makes commitments.
A loser makes promises

A winner says, “I’m good, but not as good as I ought to be”.
A loser says, “I’m not as bad as a lot of other people”.

A winner respects those who are superior to him and tries to learn something from them.
A loser resents those who are superior to him and spends time finding fault.

A winner feels responsible for more than his job.
A loser says, “I only work here”.

A winner says, “There ought to be a better way of doing it”.
A loser says, “That’s the way it’s always been done here".

WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. "

Our Founding Fathers secured this essential freedom against overwhelming odds through great adversity, securing it first with the blood of our Patriots shed in the War of the Revolution, then through the course of intense and extended debate, leading finally to the adoption of the Bill of Rights.

It is under attack now, not only by the media, not only by academia, but by the Executive Branch of the United States Government itself. The President and Department of Justice have abdicated their sworn duty to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. They have instead, with full knowledge of the enormity of their acts, systematically betrayed the American People in repeated transgressions and usurpations, thereby assuming the role of principal domestic enemy in what will be the defining Constitutional struggle of our times.

We are called at this crucial moment to bear Witness, to uphold and to defend this vital and First Freedom. Without Freedom of Conscience, what Freedom would we continue to enjoy?

GOD IS PRO-LIFE!!!

Pray For The End Of Abortion, Euthanasia, Assisted Suicide, Infanticide, And For The Defeat Of The Culture Of Death!!!

PRAYER TO END ABORTION

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

Sancte Michael Archangele,
defende nos in proelio; contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium.
Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur:
tuque, Princeps militiae Caelestis,
satanam aliosque spiritus malignos,
qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo,
divina virtute in infernum detrude.
Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits,
who wander about the world seeking the destruction of souls.
Amen.

Pope Leo XIII

Breaking records here, Kathy! Triple digits again Downtown and out here in Laurel! Dangerously hot. I stopped by my liquor store on the way home tonight. Eight days after the fierce derecho T-storms, they have no power and have not been scheduled by the electric company for repair. They have a gas generator parked near the front door and lamps hanging from extension cords strung along the ceiling - but they're open. I feel sorry for the people working there - it's hot and oppressive in there even with fans.

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!

Amazing Grace
(Click)

By John Newton

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, .
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
.
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.
.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.

Good evening Kathy & a blessed Lord’s Day to you & yours as well! *Hugs*

I plan on shopping tomorrow after the Sunday coupon’s arrive in the paper. I only get the paper twice per week once for the circulars (Wed) & once for the coupons (Sun).

If I shop on Sunday then I can determine if I need to buy more Sunday papers for the coupons.

Today I just cleaned & I watched a movie. I did sleep in this morning. I kinda felt like a doll I had when was a young girl. When you laid her flat she closed her eyes.

Everytime I laid down I went to sleep! LOL

FIL is doing so much better & thank you for asking. Not great by any stretch but still much better than he was.

I was shopping at Sam's Club early on the Fourth - saw a guy walking out of the store with a generator that looked big enough to power a battleship!
