In advance of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s speech Wednesday to the NAACP, a liberal group headed by a former New York Times reporter and ex-Media Matter executive have produced a video “satire” that claims blacks don’t like Romney, who they dub so white he makes “Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel.”
The YouTube from “The Message,” an online “media hub,” is described as a satirical video of Romney getting advice on what to say to the civil rights group. Or, as they said in a release, the video “lacerates Romney and his advisors as they prepare for his speech to NAACP in Houston on Wednesday.”
The lead “advisor” in the video is described as the brainchild of the 1992 Willie Horton ads and the 2004 swift boat campaign. He states bluntly that “blacks don’t like us and we’re about to give a speech to a whole lot of them.”
He also says to the candidate, “you are so white, you are extremely white, you make Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel,” before advising the Romney actor never fully seen to “go on out there and get all Mormon, Martin Luther King on them, you’re going to be great.”
According to a news release, The Message said it plans to use videos to “say things that Democrats are afraid to say, connect with young voters-many of whom are alienated by today’s political climate, and give smart and insightful voices an opportunity to contribute to the debate.”
The group is directed by Razor & Tie co-founder Cliff Chenfeld, former Media Matters for America president Eric Burns, former AOL chief creative officer and co-founder of theknot.com Michael Wolfson, and former New York Times journalist Andrew Zipern.

That’s simply not true. I don’t know if it’s 90 percent or 99 percent, but I know for a fact it’s not 100.
They used to vote for Republicans almost exclusively. That is when the Democrat controlled KKK wasn’t lynching blacks to stop them from voting, or when Democrats had poll taxes and other methods to stop them from voting. Funny how Democrats are now the “civil rights” party.
Whatever, my point being is that pretty much blacks vote the same percentage for the Democrats, regardless of the candidates.
Once again PROOF positive there is a sound valid reason stereotypes develop over time.
The plantation dwellers prove time and time again they are not ready for prime time.
Those who have broken the chains of the dumbocrap plantation, seem to have done very well for themselves. I suspect when they wake up in the morning their first thought is NOT “I am black and cannot make it without government”.
Unfortunately, woefully few have the nerve, desire, intelligence to leave the plantation.
I think he just exposed the fact that race relations weren’t as rosy as we thought. Generationally taught hatred doesn’t go away just because it’s covered up.
Leftists address: race this, race that, race then, race now, race tomorrow, race here, race there, race everywhere...
People on the right merely try to make sure everyone has a level playing field within the law, and let things play out. And yet they are called racists?
At what point do the Blacks, Hispanics, and other minority groups wake up and realize how racist the folks, who say they support them, actually are.
When I see a minority man or woman, I see a capable person who should be judged on their own merits and actions.
When the Left sees a minority man or woman, they see someone who isn’t capable of taking care of themselves.
It’s “you need us” vs “you are a capable adult who needs no one”.
If I were a minority, I’d be telling the Democrats(Leftists) to go pester some other group and leave mine alone.
Women, Blacks, Hispanics, other minorities, I thought you folks wanted equality. I thought you prided yourself on being capable and able to run your own life. If you are, then why are you still enslaved to the Democrat party, a party that seeks to keep you subservient to them in perpetuity?
Sounds like they need diversity training.
