CALLER: Hello, Mr. Limbaugh! Thank you. So, I heard you talking about how the public schools are brainwashing kids. And an example is we had a speaker come in a few months ago, and he was talking about how coal is evil and dirty.
RUSH: Stevie?
CALLER: So --
RUSH: Stevie, how old are you?
CALLER: I'm 12.
RUSH: You're 12 years old. Well, welcome to the program. It's nice to have you listen today.
CALLER: Thank you, sir.
RUSH: Who was this speaker that came in and said that coal is evil?
CALLER: He was, I believe, from an organization called Greening Detroit.
RUSH: He was from an organization called Greening -- g-r-e-e-n, "greening"? -- Detroit?
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: He came in and said coal is evil?
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: What does he heat his house with, do you know?
CALLER: Coal!
RUSH: That's exactly right. So he's using something that's evil.
CALLER: Yep.
RUSH Was he trying to brainwash you?
CALLER: Yes, he was.
RUSH: Now, how is it that you are able to spot this at age 12?
CALLER: Well, he was saying that coal mines were owned by the evil rich and he called those workers "slaves" on a presentation. And he said that they're blowing up mountains and polluting water and killing wildlife.
RUSH: Wow. They're blowing up mountains, they're polluting water, and they're killing animals. The rich mine owners are doing this in order to get coal?
CALLER: Yes. His alternatives were windmills and electric cars.
RUSH: Windmills and electric cars. What class was this in, Stevie?
CALLER: This was in our homeroom.
RUSH: Homeroom. (chuckles)
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: What was it, Career Day or something? Why was he there?
CALLER: I don't know. He was just there.
RUSH: He was just there?
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: He was a guest speaker who'd come in for homeroom -- and, of course, approved by the schools. This was just daily announcements and this guy starts to rip on coal?
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: Stevie, I love you, man. You hang tough. You hang tough. I have one question for you but I don't have time right now. Can you hang on through the break?
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: I knew he could. We'll be back, folks.

RUSH: We are back to 12-year-old Stevie in Birmingham, Michigan. Stevie, I looked up this outfit. (interruption) He didn't hang on? Aw, darn it. I wanted to ask Stevie how many of the kids fell for it. I also wanted to ask Stevie what he thought of this: Should Mitt Romney have investments in as many countries as Bill Clinton has girlfriends? I wanted to see what Stevie thought of that. Stevie said he was gonna hang on. Well, the homeroom teacher probably found out about this or the Greening of Detroit probably found out about it, sent somebody over to his house.
The Greening of Detroit, according to the their propaganda, is a well-established nonprofit resource agency that partners with federal, state, and local agencies, corporations, and foundations to mandate that neighborhood groups, churches, and schools do everything their way to improve the so-called ecosystem in Detroit through tree planting projects, environmental mandates, urban mandates, open space mandates, and workforce development mandates. By the way, they didn't put mandate in there; I did. I just want to tell you the truth about what these people do. Mandate is not in their propaganda statement. Every time I used it, I added it myself.
Nothing in here about houses being bulldozed. They do say they want to reforest Detroit. But that just means replant the trees that have been lost with the bulldozing of houses or whatever. I don't think they want to turn the whole city into a forest. Well, but it says reforest Detroit. I think they just mean replace the number of trees that have been lost in the last few years. Now, we don't know why they've been lost. We don't know who lost 'em. They're a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization, established in 1989 to guide and inspire the reforestation of Detroit.
They can't even afford to replace half of their street lights in Detroit. Well, they can't, and here's this bunch of loco weeds running around wanting to plant trees. (interruption) Yes, I am in a bad mood because I just realized how surrounded by stupidity I am. I'm surrounded by stupidity or irritating people. I'm just surrounded. Well, you don't want to know who. If I start naming names on who's irritating, you don't want to know. Don't ask for names. (interruption) You thought I was making it up about the street lights in Detroit? It's from Bloomberg, May 24th of this year: "Half of Detroit’s Streetlights May Go Out as City Shrinks." I wasn't making it up.

I don’t know if either of these are involved with the idiocy of farming Detroit but all that is, is a scam to collect billions in soil restoration grants. Michigan is covered with real farmland.

We need to take public school brainwashing of our kids more seriously. As a parent I consider moral, physical, social, and religious matters to be my turf. I don’t need some half-educated dude with an agenda propagandizing my children.

We sure can’t survive it if it goes on much longer and I’m not even sure we can survive the damage that’s already been done.
We’ve got at least two generations that are utterly dependent on government for their very survival.
When I was in school we would have representatives from companies like Dow Chemicals come in and talk about the importance of science and its part in creating a better world.
Field trips meant going to Greenfield village, a Kellog factory, or even a farm. All the way back to elementary school was all about preparing us for life.
ha! How rich is this. The communists are greening Detroit inadvertently by destroying the city, people and returning it to it’s original state by sheer atrophy.

I dealt with this crap at a state college years ago, and I remind them of that whenever they ask for money. I actually give specific professors’ names.
Electric cars generate no power and do not replace coal burning power stations. In fact, they draw power from them and only make scare energy supply scarcer.
Christ, they’re still pulling this crap and it’s only going to get worse.
The media, academia, the deck is stacked but this is “Broken Glass v.2” come November.
If Obama is re elected, the damage will be undo-able.
