How does Romney handle dirty campaign attack adds and whispered lies about who he is? (the purpose of which is to cause doubt in the minds of those willing to vote for Romney but not wanting to).
I was working with my son-in-law and a few of his friends a few weeks back. I know those guys to be conservative to some degree or another... I wanted to razz them a little so I asked them, "so, are you guys voting for Obama again?" They, all at once, denounced that they had voted for him the first time and would not this time either. But one of them fessed-up to say something like, "but a lot of people are going to vote for him because he killed OBL, and because he's bringing troops home..." then he said, "and besides, do you want to vote for someone who's outsourcing jobs?"
I thought, "wow, he sounds soured about Romney"... made me wonder if he was voting third party, but I also suspect he comes from a union worker background.
Anyway, the point is, Romney seems listless in defense of his background and who he is, and he doesn't seem to want to attack Obama with anything more than, "he's a nice guy, he's just in over his head" kind of BS...
If Romney wants to gin up excitement within the base and give independents a reason to vote for him, he has to do more then "take the high road"... he did well going into the lion's den of black politics... but he'd better figure out that his base wants to see some fight, make us fell like your fighting for us and defending us. Bush would not stand up and fight and that made us all feel exasperated. And I believe that is one reason why we got Obama. If Romney is infected by the same decease, we'll get Obama again. The good side of that equation is, the Tea Party will hopefully become a third party... but the bad side is, if Obama gets another 4, it's over anyway...
Romney is “no more Mr. Niceguy” against conservatives. Against fellow Progressives he shows professional courtesy.

Romney doesn’t hit back at Obama, because on most matters he agrees with him. And he wouldn’t want to offend the libs or the press.

I can see Romney releasing his super pacs with some serious attack ads in the near future as we get closer to the NRC convention in Tampa to gin up the conserative base and your average american starts to pay attention...
Romney has offered no vision. Not conservative, not liberal....nothing. He is running on purely the “not-Obama” plan. I’m not that’s going to excite anyone enough to rally to him. Sure the political hardcores will, but they were going to anyway.
Newt and Cain to some extent offered a vision and concrete plans. If Romney has one, he’s not doing a good job of articulating it.
In my mind he is running a loser campaign. Of course what would you expect from someone with no core principles.

I have only recently seen surrogates of Romney quite strongly go after the liberal talking points (and Obama). Sununu was one of them and Malkin, Gingrich and Santorum are others and they were really quite forceful.
It really isn’t necessary for Romney to himself get down in the gutter as Obama is forced to do as long as he has his surrogates and the money to put out ads (PAC)dumping on Obama. You may not hear of these attacks on the news but they are being shown all over key States and will continue and increase as election day gets closer.
We all know the media is against Romney and would never admit anything he does is enough or even right but the fact he is raking in the cash at a rate much higher then Obama is surely a good sign.
I read here someone said Obama would out raise Romney but they didn’t offer a reason for that thinking. Seems to me political donations are generated by enthusiastic followers and everything I saw indicates the Right is more enthusiastic then the Left by a pretty fair margin,

mitt isn't a muslim... his background is that of a blue blood version of the street punk radical obama.
