On Good Morning America, ABC News' Brian Ross and George Stephanolpoulos suggested that the Tea Party might be connected to the mass shootings early this morning in an Aurora, CO theater during a screening of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. The mainstream media attempted to blame the Tea Party for the Tuscon shootings in January 2011, shortly after Republicans swept the midterm elections. Now, in the critical 2012 elections, the mainstream media seems poised to do the same--and ABC News has led the way.
Here is the exchange between reporter Brian Ross and host George Stephanopoulos about apparent suspect James Holmes:

Just when you thought the mainstream media couldn't be any more irresponsible, they come out with this garbage. "Jim Holmes", like "Brian Ross" is a pretty common name. I hope that this Jim Holmes sues ABC and Brian Ross for every cent they've got.
If the shooter was Muslim, the DOJ would already be calling it “work place violence”.
Pete Williams from NBC is reporting NO CONNECTIONS with ANY extremist groups- right OR left, has not served in the military and is not on ANY watchlists of any kind.
Of course Williams is not too happy about this- BUT - knowing NBC as we do if there was ANY possibility of this guy being a right-wing type he and NBC would be ALL over it.

Even though it’s invariably a leftist or a lunatic. It’s clear they WANT it to be a Tea Party member. They make me sick!
I don’t think major networks are quite as free when they have a platform such as they do, there is a HUGE responsibility with that. It is time to start forcing the news back into reporting the news and the FACTS.
They are straying more and more from the facts. Look at the Zimmerman/Martin case. I’ve had enough of the networks and their twisting and manufacturing of news. They would never speculate a Muslim did the shooting (no, I don’t think a Muslim is responsible)but they gleefully speculate about groups they do not like.
How desperate.
They must have read the TEA Party handbook and it’s rules for members. Rule no. 1: get a gun and shoot up a crowded movie theater. (/sarcasm) Ross, Georgieboy and the Lefties are insane and they keep proving it every day.
Some are saying Tea Party, some are saying Muslims, some are saying Insanity. No one knows and all should shut the hell up. Anyone who has information should come forward. Anyone who has a theory does no good by spouting off.
People like this need repeated ass-kickings until their head is dislodged from their rectum...
In the minds of the vast majority, they will remember the Tea Party accusation, and the retraction will barely be covered.
