New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an ardent gun-control advocate, immediately jumped on the Aurora, Colo., shooting spree to demand the presidential candidates “tell us what they’re going to do about” such mass shootings.
Bloomberg’s remarks came during an interview on WOR News Talk Radio 710 in New York. “Soothing words are nice,” said Bloomberg. “But maybe it’s time the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country. And everybody always says, Isn’t it tragic?” …

He should start with having his personal security detail stop carrying firearms. Then, he should loudly trumpet this fact to the populace of NYC as an example of how to be a potential victim.
The shooter did not do it alone. He must have had a teacher, roads and bridges.

Well, it does say in the Constitution that my right to bear arms “shall not be infinged”, except by the stylistic choices of nutjob murderers.
Notice also how the AP story includes the description of “white American” for the shooter? So many comments possible there that I don’t even know where to begin. They checked the guy’s citizenship? I thought they never included race? I can hear the AP reporter going “Nyaaah!” to conservatives. I can hear the AP reporter going “Wheew” to his colleagues.

Mayor Doucheberg is such an asshole. Take guns away from law abiding people - thats his solution to crime. Maybe if someone in the theater had been carrying concealed, they could have returned fire and stopped the psycho from killing so many innocents.
The only logical thing to do is ban indoor movie theaters. If this had been a drive-in the casualties wold have been much less.
