LONDON – A gay man carrying the Olympic torch today on the streets of London was cheered by spectators when he kissed his boyfriend during his stretch of carrying the device that will light the giant Olympic Flame tonight during the opening ceremony that will be telecast by NBC in the U.S. on a tape-delay basis.

Chris Basiurski, who chairs Gay Football Supporters Network in Great Britain, was one of thousands of Britons who were chosen to carry the Olympic torch over the past 70 days as part of the Olympic Torch relay that leads up to the lighting ceremony.

Basiurski told the spectators that he and his partner, James, would be getting married next year.

promulgating hate

Hate develops from envy. This isn't about envy. This is disgust which is different.

King Leonidas: Submission? Well that's a bit of a problem. See, rumor has it the Athenians have already turned you down, and if those philosophers and, uh, boy-lovers have found that kind of nerve, then...

Theron: We must be diplomatic.

King Leonidas: [ignoring Theron] ... and, of course, Spartans have their reputation to consider.

Wait and see......time will show that this is a hill not worth dying on.

I do oppose the fanatical activist gay agenda and the despicable demonization of Chik-fil-A, but I see no reason why civil unions for gays should not be allowed. As for the "marriage" thing it is a fight over semantics.

When I have a visceral reaction ("disgust") to something, I have to ask myself where it comes from, perhaps you should too.

What two consenting adults do in their bedroom is none of my business or yours. As for what they do in public, perhaps we should just outlaw all public sexual activity or displays of affection.

We propose to believe in civil liberty and would do well to act accordingly.

I wasn’t planning on watching the Olympics anyway but now I am really not gonna watch. There is no escaping them. I am sick to death of their perversion being thrown in my face at every turn!

The Opening Ceremony is transpiring as I speak, er......as I type.

We will see it via tape tonite on NBC at 7 PM Eastern.

Settle in for an enjoyable evening for a change....no O'Reilly and his faggy leftist guests comes to mind.

I hope someone starts a live thread for the ceremony soon.

“One more huge “first” and another massive press opportunity for their agenda.”

Shouldn’t that be “fist”?

Just sayin’...

Let the freak show called the Olympics begin. It is no longer about the athletes but is about political correctness run amock.

It's turned into a United Nations festival, a global one world event, mostly controlled by liberals, leftist and commies, and others who want to make their leftist statements.

I'd rather mow the lawn than be a spectator to that spectacle.

Most people, men in particular, are universally revolted with homosexual behavior because it is recognized as mental derangement. Not everything in Iran is necessarily bad and recognizing coprophlia as sick, is one such issue.

<><><>><

PLease, feel free to tout Iran’s stance on homosexual behavior. I’m glad that, in this way, Iran tracks with your sensibilities.

Find something else you like about Iran, and we have a candidate for even the broken clock being right twice a day.

Which sport starts each play with a man's hands next to another man's butt?

I think the gay football they mean is soccer. And, yes, it's redundant.

I happen to have a very good friend who is Iranian. Known him well since the 1970s. It is your right to be homophilic, but don’t expect the world to revolve around your “sexual” preference bs. Humans are sexually dimorphic and just because the claim of, its not a choice, I was born this way as touted by perverts everywhere now, is going to fly.

. No one can convince me Sodom and Gomorrah were worse than we are now.

No instant mass communication back then. If it weren't for the Bible story , we still wouldn't even know they had existed.

We may or may not be worse, but we're making darn sure that everyone on the planet KNOWS ABOUT IT.
