President Barack Obama is backing a controversial campaign by progressives to regulate schools’ disciplinary actions so that members of major racial and ethnic groups are penalized at equal rates, regardless of individuals’ behavior.

I nominate Obama's two kids to go to the majority minority hell-holes that liberals consign other people's children. Maybe they could report back to Mommy and Daddy what sector of the student population is disproportionately disruptive and violent.

If everyone except blacks gets their children out of government schools, there will be equality.

Think about it ... before your child is suspended or expelled to meet your racial/ethnic quota.

From the article:

“What this means is that whites and Asians will get suspended for things that blacks don’t get suspended for,” because school officials will try to level punishments despite groups’ different infraction rates, predicted Hans Bader, a counsel at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Bader is a former official in the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights, and has sued and represented school districts and colleges in civil-rights cases.

at least special ed will get a lot “whiter” since this EO treats special ed referrals as “discriminatory”

Hooray! Less competition for kids like my son for these excellent resources and teachers

Oh man, at this rate all Mitt Romney will need to do is publicize pictures of his pretty face. Barack Obama will have dug his own grave to China by November.

This has got to be the most doltish thing in public education yet. Result will be more and more whites pulling out to homeschool or private school, and the occasional black parent who does care about order in the schools will be miffed too that they let the black children “get away with murder.”

It will have to be up to conservative media outlets to get stories like this out-—the MSM will not go there.

So, to insure equal punishment rates, BASED ON RATES, black kids will be allowed to beat other students, and attack teachers without penalty, while the Asian kids will be suspended, or worse, for wearing mismatched socks to school.

Of course, that isn’t racist, right?

Sorry, as a long-time high school teacher, this has been going on in the high schools for awhile. Just google PBiS. It may not say so but it is aimed at white teachers to learn how to deal with minority students and what constitutes a punishment.

Some school districts already have such a policy informally. The American people in the name of “fairness” will be all for such an unworkable idea.

Think about it ... before your child is suspended or expelled to meet your racial/ethnic quota.

They'll meet the quota by NOT disciplining certain "minority" races. There are enough white drug babies for them to discipline (generally, not in every school) without worrying about the rest of the white population. But what about certain Asian "minorities" whose children tend to be motivated and well behaved?

I have known more than one teacher leave the public school systems because of the concept of ‘race based justice’.

Sowell wrote a book about “Cosmic Justice” quite a while back.

Liberals think they are virtuous and intelligent enough, and have enough information,

to impose “cosmic justice” for any past wrongs.

Obviously, this includes a lower behavioral standard for blacks in schools to “make up for” harsher punishment they received in the past.

I have taught third grade in a low income urban school for seven years. This coming school year we will have a new principal. She is a black lady from another school in the district. She met with all of the different grade levels one at a time this week to kind of get a feel foor how we all work together. When we tried to talk to her about discipline, she got very upset and said,” This is where my inner Shaniqua is gonna come out!” By the way, that isn’t her name. She said “I want to know why the hell over 80% of all office refferals last year were black children. Don’t sit here and tell me that they are the only bad kids in this school!” As she talked I just kept my mouth shut. She went through her little prepared speech with the occasional “bitch” and f-bomb thrown in. It was the most unprofessional meeting I have ever been in. As soon as I got home I started updating my resume because I refuse to be a part of that circus.

I teach special ed and it's been getting "whiter" and "browner". Did you know that IQ tests are discriminatory against blacks?

This was MLK’s dream. Affirmative action for criminals, thugs and wrong doers.

Let’s just turn the arithmetic around on them. For every wrong done by a member of a minority group, then members of the majority group gets a free pass on a proportional number of violent incidents. Is that what they want? It is what they are asking for.

As long as whites run away from race they can and will do what they want.

I remember a situation at my son's school that reinforces your warning. This 15 years old black male, still in eighth grade, was chronically abusive, disruptive, and violent. Parents complained, teachers wrote up reams of disciplinary referrals and the administration refused to expel him.

Instead he was assigned his own personal anger management counselor, enrolled in a program called WRAP and was actually allowed to leave the classroom any time he felt he needed to "deal with his anger."

One day in class he became enraged when the teacher asked him to return to his seat. He cursed her out and when she sent a student to get the principal he picked up an overhead projector and threw it. It narrowly missed the teacher and landed at my son's feet.

I went to the principal and told him I was prepared to press criminal charges if something was not done. It took an incident of this magnitude to get this kid expelled and ultimately transferred to an alternative school.
