Boehner Indicates GOP House May Fund Obama's 'Attack on Religious Liberty
CNS News.com ^ | July 26, 2012 | By Jon Street

Posted on 07/27/2012 8:34:49 PM PDT by Free in Texas

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) indicated Thursday that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives that he leads may go ahead and provide the Obama administration with the funding it needs to implement a regulation that earlier this year Boehner himself called "an unambiguous attack on religious freedom in our country."

At a Capitol Hill press conference on Thursday, Boehner said he believes "resolving" the regulation's attack on religious liberty may not be something for Congress to deal with because he thinks it may be one of those policy goals that "can sometimes best be done [through] other than legislative avenues."

Boehner did not explain what those "other than legislative avenues" may be. However, whether or not the Obama administration can actually carry out the regulation depends entirely on whether or not Boehner's Republican-majority House votes to give the administration the money to do it. If the Republican-majority House prohibits spending any money to implement the regulation in whatever legislation that funds the government after Sept. 30, the administration cannot implement it.

Boehner's House can stop what Boehner called an "attack on religious freedom," or it can give Presdient Obama the money to launch the attack.

What, in the name of Heaven, is wrong with Boehner?!

Can he be recalled? Can there be a vote of ‘no confidence’?

For his lack of usefulness, he might as well be a Dem!

The totally artificial, irrational linkage of health insurance with employment has to be severed. There should be no such thing as “benefits.” They are a creature of an irrational, corrupt tax code.

I read that George Wallace, former governor of Alabama who made a third party presidential bid, said that
“There ain't a dimes bit of difference between Republicans and Democrats.”

Or something like that. And what was the actual difference (other than party name) betweet Taft, Roosevelt, and Wilson in 1912?

Bitch, bitch, bitch! Whatever happens in November, but especially if Romney loses, something has to be done, instead of complaining all the time. There’s four years to get a new party going. That would be a lot of work, sure, but bitching gets nothing done. Start immediately in November.

Should Romney win, the Speaker HAS to be changed. There’s too much to change, not to compromise.

Here’s how you do it:

1) Michele Bachmann needs to get together with Jim DeMint and approach every single K-Street corporate lobbyist with the following proposition: Support our leadership in the House and the Senate and, in return, we will scrap the corporate income tax in the United States. Gone. 0%. This will cost the federal government at most an extra $300 billion per year. Considering the fact that the federal government spends in excess of $3 trillion per year, it’s a drop in the bucket. Besides, the Laffer Curve effect will probably increase total income tax receipts due to increased economic activity. America would become the world’s premier tax haven for international business concerns to base their operations in the U.S.A.

2) Bachmann and DeMint need to go to the Big Tobacco firms and get control of the Tobacco checkbook that Cry-Baby Boner and Turkey Gobbler McConnel currently control. That is the source of both of these jackwagons REAL power; the Big Tobacco money.

3) Hire a couple of Private Investigators to dig up ALL of the dirt on Cry-Baby Boner and Turkey Gobbler McConnel.

4) Fund to the hilt Cry-Baby Boner’s Democrat opponent in Ohio. I don’t care if he is the second-coming of Karl Marx. He [or she] will be nothing but a back bencher in the 113th Congress.

Time to go all LBJ with these penny ante yokels.

Quite p[ossibly the worst Speaker of the House in the history of the United States of America.

Worse than Pelosi, for Pelosi despite her being a liberal idiot used the position of power for her advantage, she knew how to work it and did.We all hated what Pelosi did, but Got damnit she used it.

Boehner hasn’t a clue as to the power he has or how to use it.He is a wimp cry-baby POS.

There is a reason why the 'Rats and the MSM haven't done to Boehner what they did to Newt, Livingston, etc. I gave Bonehead the (consistently dwindling) benefit of the doubt until I saw him on the golf course letting Barack Obama get away with playing the alpha dog to a nauseating degree. Then and there, my gut told me that the GOP House was being "led" by a testosterone-challenged mole. His behavior since then has strengthened my conviction.

He's not just a traitor to his oath, he's an embarrassing traitor to his oath.

Not a bad idea Arthur. But if you had to pay for health insurance by yourself, many could not.

Honestly, that is the plan. Companies will drop health care coverage, forcing people to buy their own policy or pay the “Tax”. Many will not be able to, and will DEMAND the State do something.

Bingo socialized medicine, without the Olympic fanfare.

They will drive her out, or in to jail for blasphemy against diversity, soon enough. She pointed out that Hillary the Lizard Queen’s main squeeze is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. That can not be allowed to stand in their view.
