I believe this demonstrates what we conservatives have been thinking is wrong with Romney: He should be saying "destroy it" rather than saying "fix it".

Since Romney (aka, Rotney) is no conservative, we need to drag him to win in Nov, and then drag him for four years to do the right thing as much as possible. it’s the pragmatist’s way.

Conservatives have not learned a "darned" thing from the results piled up by the left - gay lobby and envirowackos - they win little tiny victories and make their ideas seem harmless. Conservatives SCREAM close education or EPA and the "averge" joe who sees 1-2 hours of TV news a week, thinks conservatives are the devil instead of folks working to make a better place to live.
Liberals win a hundred TINY battles every month - in court, on TV shows, in the MSM - and they all look rational to hard working folks that have no time to examine life's lessons. Maybe little victories would be a start to slowing the growth of EPA DOJ etc. etc.

This election will be decided by a few thousand moderates in a few states. If he said he would eliminate the EPA some on FR would cheer....but it would be political suicide. The media and obama would rip him to shreds.

Nixon probably never dreamed the way the EPA operates today!
It can be useful if run right! Probably better to abolish it if it cannot behave!

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) should use its power for good, not evil, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney told supporters Thursday night at a fundraiser in London

The EPA problem goes much deeper than either Romney or obuma.
In the Rapanos v US case we had the Nazis at EPA nailed down for extortion and sedition. The gutless US House refused to even hold hearings. The entire EPA hierarchy should have been swinging from ropes.
The fact that the EPA exists is a signpost that the criminal fascist syndicate has taken over Washington. The states that are passing legislation to arrest these traitors are doing the right thing.
