Gay rights group Equality Illinois is organizing a “Kiss-in” at Chick-Fil-A restaurants nation-wide in response to the statements by CEO Dan Cathy, who confessed he was “guilty as charged” when asked about his “support of the traditional family.”
CBS News reports that Cathy’s statement in a recent interview was:
“We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that. We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”
The fall out from the Chick-Fil-A CEO’s statement has been widespread, with people like Mike Huckabee joining in support with the company, but gay and lesbian rights groups urging people to boycott the restaurant for their lack of equality.
While the company itself has attempted to backtrack from Cathy’s comments, saying that they strive to “treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender,” their attempts have been unsuccessful.
Equality Illinois has dubbed their campaign “Flick-the-Hate,” and the group is also urging people to sign a petition that will be geared toward universities and malls that host Chick-Fil-A restaurants. The group stated:
“As we challenge the company’s anti-LGBT policies, we must also ask these universities and mall owners why they want to do business with a company that holds up hate as a family value.”
A Facebook group has since been created with the title “National Same Sex Kiss Day At Chick Fil A,” and describes itself by saying:
“Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week you’ll have noticed that Chick Fil A has officially come out against the LGBTQ community. (For those of you who have been living under a rock, or just want to read it again, here’s the article http://www.latimes.com/business/money/la-fi-mo-chick-fil-a-gay-marriage-20120719,0,5713061.story)
“In honor of their support for love, equality, and the real definition of family, we’re holding a NATIONAL Same Sex Kiss Day at Chick Fil A’s around the country. So grab a friend (or 20) and head out to your nearest Chick Fil A! And don’t forget to post photos/videos of it here! For all the world to see!”
CBS Local notes that Equality Illinois is also urging that people make August 1 an “Eat For Love” day, where participants eat at restaurants that openly support gay marriage. They are asking that participants post where they are planning to stage their “kiss-in” protests, and to also send pictures.
Equality Illinois states that at the “kiss-in,” “LGBT supporters will show their disdain for Chick-Fil-A’s policies with public displays of affection in front of their restaurants.”
This was posted on another thread, but there is a youtube vid dated May 2011 showing about fifteen fags invading a Chick Fil-A, forming a cheesy chorus line, then prancing & singing their signature we’re-here-we’re-queer-we’re-proud-get-used-to-it piece. The place was uncharacteristically empty so their protest fell mostly on deaf walls. The faggies weren’t menacing looking leather queers or bodybuilders, just mostly fat dork losers. Not even effective as drama queens.
They then marched out after snubbing the CF-A staff & not ordering anything, all the while wearing silly grins and holding up “I’m Gay!” signs. Pathetic.
For context, the 1991 invasion of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York by HIV positive ACT-UP militants, that was scary as it involved angry doomed sodomites with nothing to lose.
That differed enormously from the current homosexual “protest” against Chick Fil-A, which has now taken on national dimensions. This time the faggies either win big, or go down in catastrophic defeat.
This has been so true in the almost all of the movies and the TV shows since the early 1980s.
We have had almost thirty years of non-stop pro-gay propaganda.
Even though they plead incessantly for tolerance, they are the most intolerant folks around, and their actions prove it.

Not wanting to sound sexist, but I learned to never say anything negative about Chick-fil-a to any female. Great move queerbobs, get 1/2 the population up in arms AGAINST your faggy cause..
If you really want to spaz them out ask them this...
“If you and your ‘partner’ were not having sex, you’d be just considered good friends, no different from two people sharing a residence for financial reasons. So that being the case and the fact that your brand of sex cannot result in having children, can you please explain to me why it is that people should be granted special privileges, benefits and rights based solely on the type of sex they are having?”
This also works great to ask of reporters during interviews.
Would it be a hoot if the queers had their Chick-fil-a kiss-in on Sunday! Talk about drive away CFA’s business....
I have a gay brother so I’m more tolerant than most, but I couldn’t believe that these big city mayors and gay rights groups are attempting to damage Chick Fil A’s business because of the personal opinion expressed by its President.
The definition of intolerance in the name of “tolerance”.
So, on the way to a wedding today we made a point of stopping at the mall just to eat at Chick Fil A. The place was mobbed and the cashier said she had never seen them this busy on a Saturday. I plan to go there as frequently as possible. And besides that, I like their chicken sandwiches with extra pickle.
Not many will show up, since the number of sodomites is much smaller than advertised. But they will get tons and tons of adulation from the sodomy-celebrating media.
I will be purchasing from Chick Fil A on August 1, just to piss off the sodomites.
Being homos I figure they would have a Homo SCAT eating day.

I am confused. Out of one side of their mouth, they say what i do in the bedroom is my business, then out of the other side of their mouth they publicly force their bedroom antics in the publics eye. Such hypocrites. When their fear comes, God will laugh at their calamity.
