I like Denny’s as a family chain. I’m a fan of the approx $5.00 grand slam breakfast. Good anytime night or day. Eggs, biscuits and gravy anytime night or day on nearly any interstate while on the road.

Cracker Barrel. It’s got a lot of old time decor and a friendly atmosphere.

Wendy’s generally does an ok job as far as helping out by helping deliver food to your table if you are juggling a little one.

I have eaten at 1 Perkins in the last 15 years probably, but they were pretty friendly, when I went in there with my daughter.

I love Pizza Ranch. The buffet is a heck of a deal.

They(Denny’s) produced a VERY Pro-Second Amendment Ad for Independence Day.

We found Waffle House to be very friendly while traveling across the country. The wait staff is very attentive and entertaining on the late night shift.

...Cracker Barrel for sure. I have no idea about their politics or faith, but Perkins is pretty good as well.

Great! Maybe that’s why they don’t object when we drop by in our tea party garb.

I have five children. We have meals at home most every day, and have for almost 20 years. All of my children know how to cook, and cook well. When they have friends over, the other kids ask, "Do you eat like this every day?"

My real suggestion is to skip the chains. When we go out to eat, we go places where we get food we can't cook at home.
