All in the (Political) Family - Obama's Marxist Mentor and Valerie Jarrett and David Axelrod
The American Spectator ^ | August 3, 2012 | Paul Kengor

Posted on 08/03/2012 4:13:31 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

A new book by Richard Miniter contends that it was Valerie Jarrett, Obama's top adviser, who repeatedly urged President Obama not to take out Osama bin Laden, prompting Obama to cancel the mission three times.

Kudos to Miniter for this revelation. A year ago, I had written a feature article for American Spectator on Valerie Jarrett. One piece of information I had, but couldn't confirm, was precisely this. Good work by Richard Miniter.

........As readers of this site are aware, I've just published a book on Barack Obama's mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. No president in the long history of this republic has had a mentor like Obama's. Frank Marshall Davis was a literal -- and I mean literal -- card-carrying member of Communist Party USA. I publish Davis's Communist Party number (47544) on the cover of the book, and fill an appendix with declassified FBI documents and Soviet archival material. Those documents reveal a Davis so suspicious that he was placed on the federal government's Security Index, which meant he could be immediately arrested if war broke out between the United States and USSR. With that sort of pro-Soviet influence throughout his adolescence (1970-79), Barack Obama would have trouble getting a security clearance for an entry-level government job, let alone sit in the Oval Office.

Nonetheless, Obama sits in that Oval Office today thanks to four factors: the American voter, a scandalously biased media, a skillful election strategy charted by David Axelrod, and the careful nurturing of Valerie Jarrett.

And most remarkable, Axelrod's and Jarrett's backgrounds and mentors connect to Obama's background and mentor in a most intriguing way. It's a stunning story, hard to believe. Follow closely:

We throw the terms socialist and communist around too easily and doing so diminishes their true meaning.

So, do you think "progressive" is any different than "communist"?

Too many people are cowed at the prospect of being called a McCarthy-ite for pointing out that Communism is at the root of many of our problems. Not you. And not me. I think that, more often than not, you scratch a liberal and you get redder than red blood.

Communists adopted the term progressive to soften their image. Problem is that too many progressives don’t realize they are being duped.

What’s so frustrating (and lamentable) about the fact that so few have learned that history (Soviet archives, Venona transcripts etc.) has for the most part vindicated McCarthy. It’s maddening to me, how leftists and their media can still use him as a cudgel against anyone who opposes them.

You show me an elected RAT, and I'll show you a "progressive' (communist)

The only ones being duped are the RAT-voters, and they are of the idiot class.

“Romney is a leader in the Mormon cult. That is all I need to know.”

Please tell me when Mormon's murdered millions of their own people. I can list the times communists have done that and are doing that right now.

I agree.

I'm sorry, I obviously didn't say what I intended in saying the terms communism and socialism are bandied about too frequently.

My point is that I read posts here every day calling Romney a socialist and that he is no different than Obama. Saying the two are the same weakens the argument against Obama.

They are not the same. One may be too liberal but the other is a true Communist.

Rush is slowly ratcheting up the noise level about this.

It's as if something finally "clicked" for Rush and he now feels free to join in the discussion some have been having since 2008. To that I say, thank God!

Thanks for the reply. Going to the bookstore today and buying one of the Obama books recently released. Hard choice—they all sound interesting. Probably get the Kengor book after reading your post.

I hope you chose it. I wish everyone here on FR would read it.

Even though it is about Frank Marshall Davis you will see the true Obama. For instance, FMD hated Churchill and General Motors. He thought General Motors should be taken over by the government because of their obscene profits. Sound familiar?

I highly recommend people read it. Especially those who say there is no difference between Romney and Obama.

Romney may be too liberal but he is not a Communist.

I'm not that sure that Romney was that liberal or just a pol blowing in MA's wind. IIRC, Mark Kirk moved to the right after he was elected to the Senate from Illinois. He was one of the biggest RINOs in the House from a northern Chicago suburb. Gillibrand from upstate NY went from moderate rat sleeping with rifles under her bed to one of the most hard left members of the Senate.

I hope your are right because I am voting for him. What I do know about Romney is that he is not a communist. He doesn't hate small business, he doesn't hate Israel, and, most importantly, he doesn't hate America.

I don’t think so. I think that McCain and other “centrists” attacking Bachmann actually help get the truth out. Obama’s policies, along with a worsening economy on his watch will do the rest.

The article mentions the black American communist Robert Taylor. Here’s his legacy:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Taylor_Homes

It should be the poster child of liberalism. Spread the word.

And this (from the posted article):

"Frank Marshall Davis, like Obama, found himself, his career, and his political calling in Chicago. It was there in the 1940s that he first began working for communist front-groups, joined the Communist Party, and wrote for and became the founding editor-in-chief of the Chicago Star, the city's Communist Party newspaper -- where Davis kicked off the newspaper with a column (July 6, 1946) pledging to advance "fundamental change.""

Sheeperal 0bama supporters will tell you that it’s “absurd” to say that 0bama is a Marxist, but, let’s have a look at the parallel.

Mitt Romney is a Mormon. Even if he had not said so, we could reasonably determine that he is a Mormon because his Grandparents were Mormon, his parents were Mormon, his mentors were Mormon, and he attended a Mormon church all his life.

Obama’s grandparents, parents, mentors, preferred professors, and his pastor were all Marxists, yet somehow it’s “absurd” to think 0bama is a Marxist?

It is absolutely chilling to get a look inside the mindset of the man sitting in the White House.

The documentary "2016 Obama's America" together with this book show that Obama was completely surrounded with Marxists.

Completely surrounded by Marxists his entire life,
immersed in Marxist thought, speech, and ideas his entire life...

but it’s “absurd” to call him a Marxist.

Sheeperals, pull the other one and it plays Jingle Bells.

I know what it is, though. Sheeperals’ entire reason for being “liberal” is to feel good about themselves as “good people”, and Marxists aren’t “good people”, so there is no way the people the sheeperals support could be Marxists.

Follow?
