Clinton hopes for improved drones to find Kony (a leak?)
ABC ^ | August 2, 2012 | MATTHEW LEE

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she hopes drones will soon be able to see through jungle cover so they can locate warlord Joseph Kony.

Clinton made the remark in Uganda as she watched a small U.S.-made drone that the Ugandan military uses in Somalia to fight al-Qaida-linked militants.

The U.S. last year sent 100 special forces advisers to Central Africa to help hunt Kony, the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army, a band of jungle-roaming militants known for kidnapping children, taking girls as sex slaves and disfiguring victims. Ugandan forces are at the forefront in the hunt for Kony, whose campaign of terror originated in Uganda but who is now elsewhere in central Africa.

Pray for these "Advisers" ... apparently we learned nothing from Vietnam.

If you’re going to be a global player, you have to have pieces on the board. We have advisers around the planet. We aren’t at war around the planet.

These people develop relationships with the local players. If things go south, we have contacts and can develop good intel. Some of our biggest challenges come in nations where we haven’t had advisers in a long time.

The problem with having Hillary Clinton in this position, is that you don’t know if she’s really up to speed with a coordinated effort, or if she is as full of it as ever. My take is that it’s the later about 99% of the time. Mistakes will happen, and that covers the other 1%.

Talk about an unreliable untenable situation.

Hillery has much more pressing p[roblems than hunting for
gorrillas in the mist.

Iran is about to bite her in her rather copious a$$.

Hillary has never liked the Military or trusted the police...she may have become less hostile over the years but still a child of the 60’s and that does not bode well for those advisers in another man’s jungle....

With their (the whole Omambi squad) loose lips, you sure said a mouth-full there. Our people are in danger like never before.

I wasn’t a big Bush fan, but the guy would never have betrayed his operatives like this bumbling idiot would on a whim.

Groups can likely be spotted using thermal imaging, regardless of the ambient temps, so long as there is a few degrees difference between the ambient and 98.6. Follow up can determine if the groups are guerrillas or otherwise.

Or is she sending a warning to someone who won't play ball?

If the EPA can track cattle peeing in streams, I'm sure they can find a roving band of brigands (just follow the burning villages... )

When Bush was accused by the whiners it was wrong when they do it, it’s humanitarian in nature.

roaming militants gangbangers known for kidnapping children, taking girls as sex slaves and disfiguring victims.

It's a culture thing/s

That's what the local mayor said when defending his bro's habit of firing guns straight up for New Years celebration in the city.

Glad we did something like this when the government of Sudan was pulling that kind of stuff. Oh, wait, it's the same government in Sudan, and they're still doing it, and we did nothing? Okay.

Even if Kony is still alive, he most certainly isn’t where they will be looking, so what are they really doing?

Remember, that though they are internationalists, they are indifferent to foreign policy, so the likelihood is that they are doing a “field experiment” for something they want to do in the US.

Sure Kony is a bad guy why would we spend so much time and money and valuable resources on Kony? There are bigger problems. As usual this administration is always focused on imaginary problems and not the real ones.

Is Kony a terrorist plotting against the people and interest of the United States? Has there been a finding that he is a danger to the USA? Clinton is soliciting stone cold murder.

I wonder if they can develop a drone to go after the guy who raped Juanita Broaddrick. What about that, Hillary?

Clinton is soliciting stone cold murder.

I think we found the source of our national security leaks. Hillary, not Oboma, is trying to look like a strong, testosterone laden leader. She wants the presidential attention, so she can prove SHE should have been elected president instead of Oboma.

I want Oboma gone, gone, gone, but if I were him, I wouldn't turn my back on the Clintons. Asking Bill to assist him in his reelection is nothing short of political suicide (which I strongly approve of).
Mark my words, Bill is going to force Oboma to bend over and take it like a girl (and Oboma will smile and open wide...... but his sexual dysfunction is another story for another time), and show him what happens when you pi$$ off a Clinton.

.

Nah, the Chicago Mob is stronger than the Dixie Mafia. Clinton was reminded of such in the 2008 campaign.

Yeah, but Oboma is vulnerable right now. His poll numbers suck. There's a hole in his armor. One good slip up now from Mr. or Ms. trailer trash, and he's political toast. Right now he can't afford to take a major political hit.
