Looks like the GOP isn't standing for Sen. Harry Reid's bullying tactics. Reid recently suggested--without a shred of evidence he can share, apparently--that Mitt Romney hadn't paid taxes for quite awhile. Reports the AP:
Top Republicans on Sunday accused Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of lying by passing along an anonymous claim that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney hasn't paid taxes for 10 years. Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus called Reid a "dirty liar." Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said, "I think he's lying about his statement of knowing something about Romney" and he contended Reid was "making things up to divert the campaign away from the real issues." Reid's spokesman, Adam Jentleson, contended that Republicans were trying to cover up for Romney and the aide repeated the Nevada senator's claims that the source about Romney's taxes is "credible." Other Democrats said Romney could clear up any confusion about his taxes by disclosing them to the public, and the issue was a main talking point on the Sunday news shows.
UPDATE (Guy) - Here's video of Priebus' exchange on This Week. The best part is when George Stephanopoulos seems taken aback by the term "dirty liar" and asks if the RNC Chairman will "stand by" that characterization. Priebus' reply? "I just said it."
Additional props to Priebus starting his answer with a series of slams on the economy, which is the issue Reid is trying to distract from with his pathetic stunt.
Profilers are talking about a specific preference of Dirtbag Harry. He likes his boys around 8 to 10 years old. Not sure yetif it is because they can’t testify at that age or he just likes little lads.
One notices that not one “journalist” has reported that Reid was accused of having kiddie porn on his House computer.
I have heard from an extremely reliable source that Dingy Harry is very fond of goats.
Has he denied it?
Why not?
It's only fair that he clear up these serious accusations.
He should have never taken the job nor sold out to Romney.
Oh, cmon now..
he is telling the truth..
just like I am telling the truth..
I saw him with a 9 year old boy in his car, naked, and in an embrace..
now, charge him and make him prove it to be false...
The fish rots from the head.

You should learn from your tag line.
Traditionally Senators do not call each other liars. They have to use clever twists of their tongues.
either that or we all get on the band wagon and create a new US Senate..I surmise that if obama is reelected by 2016 there won't be a US Congress...he is out to destroy America..
Man.....you REALLY are a glass half full guy!!! ENJOY the MOMENT!!! geesh.
your TAGLINE.........hmmmmmm......you might want to change it.
Their is Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry"
And Harry Reid is a Harry for sure...
But he called him "Dirty Liar" which is a way to say he ain't no Dirty Harry.
Dirty Harry in the movies did things his way, was a man of honor, and got it done right or wrong.
Dingy Hairy is none of these... This is a dish served cold people, it is more biting IMHO than anyone sees here...
The problem is that this is a compete setup that is playing out as the Dem want it to.
Instead of Romney vs Obama we have Romney vs Reid. No good. I don’t think Reid has anything to lose here because they know the Senate is going GOP this Fall a d will stay so for a while. I imagine Reid, not wanting to finish out his career as Minority Leader, won’t run again and will retire with his generous Senate pension and hig-dollar residuals provided by the SEIU and Nevada Gaming Commission.
Is 4 times a charm? ;-)
“It’s only fair that he clear up these serious accusations. “
It isn’t the quality of the evidence, rather the seriousness of the charge.
Yeah, I'm aware of how senators are supposed to act, I believe like pompous elitist is the tradition.
Time for real conservatives to break that mold and get down to business.
If who we got now (Mitch McConnell) can't or won't do it, get rid of his sorry a$$.
