The military component is forcing the media to pipe down regarding the flippant accusations and presumptions.
Sloppy reporting in general given the absence of data, but describing the basic characteristics of the alleged perp is legitimate; the stereotyping is hypocritical. Only unless a perp bears resemblance to a typical white, middle-aged male will the reporting include definitive descriptions with the extraordinary, unproven assertions and implications.

He may have gravitated to the Neo-Nazi realm of insanity, but that doesn’t necessarily explain the depraved motivation to murder.
Well, I suppose if YOU want people to think YOU’RE an idiot then keep posting things like that without some sort of sarcasm tag. I never said I personally believed your post, I merely pointed out that it wasn’t funny, and could lead to others believing it wasn’t a “joke”, which in turn could hurt people’s attempts at disseminating real information.
What I was also trying to point out is that with all of the disinformation and spin that accompanies all events like this - the type which you pointed out yourself with Brian Ross’s unprofessional, and IMO political manipulations - it doesn’t do us any good to feed into the craziness that is the media.
As for this “innocent looking” individual never possibly being a skinhead killer - looks CAN and ARE deceiving sometimes... Surely, you are aware of that, correct? Or, do you actually believe that ALL criminals who commit acts of violence look a “certain way”?

Trained soldiers at least have been trained and at least expecting the possibility that something similar to this might happen. Ordinary people going about their business fixing dinner, not so much.
Confusion and disorientation is to be expected. Someone who is able to give a calm, rational and coherent account of what happened would be an extreme exception.
I read earlier one of the shot but apparently not yet dead guys got shot charging the shooter. The Sikh warrior spirit is apparently not entirely dead. Would have been nice if he’d been a little better armed for the confrontation.
I wonder if his band covered, “Take the Skinheads Bowling.”
If everything reported about him is true, my prayers are with the Sikh community and my compliments to the Police officer that took down this nazi POS!
