Drudge Title: India Blames White House For Shooting

Top State Department officials including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been working behind the scenes to assuage Indian anger following the attack on a Sikh temple in Wisconsin over the weekend by an Army veteran and alleged former white supremacist.

Indian government officials and Sikh leaders across India were outraged by the attack that left 6 dead, including 4 Indian nationals, at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee and called on the U.S. to do more to protect Sikhs living in the United Sates. Clinton called Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna from her stop in South Africa Monday after Krishna criticized the U.S. for failed policies and a growing trend of violent incidents against religious minorities...

I have alot of love for my brothers but you still need to be punched in the head.

Stop this nonsense, go outside, stretch, and have a good workout because all that energy forced into the mind results in stupid head.

I work with muslims and the men seem to be rather weak. They whine about everything, every ache and pain, especially the Palestinians and Pakis. They make it seem like a big deal that they can survive a fast which is really just a month of delayed suppers. They are also superstitious to the hilt and you can psych them out by pretending to put a hex on them. One little word in the right place can set them off to do a backstabbing battle wih their best friends, which is a vulnerability, and they think the CIA is all-powerful to the point of being magical.

Now, Iranians are tougher, but I've been told they don't swim well and their speedboats have glass bottoms so they can see their Navy.

Well, it isn't as easy as you think for them to get their offspring to put on suicide belts. Note that bin Laden's offspring didn't put on suicide belts, nor did Arafat's, nor Saddam Hussein's.

No, to do that they have to select vulnerable people ready to crack from other issues, such as having committed unforgiveable taboos. The average guy won't fall for that crap. So they seek out the shamed and humiliated who are already leaning towards suicide, and administer drugs and psychological pressure to push them further. Note that many suicide bombers are women. Since it is easy for the islamist to destroy a woman's reputation in their abusive society, it is easier to get women to do the work the leadership should do for itself by simply discovering any dirt she may want to hide or failing that by destroying her directly with accusation and rape. If Islamists truly believed their own tripe they would consider such people unfit to do holy deeds and reserve the privilege for themselves, but as we see, more often than not the perp is an emotionally broken person looking for escape, or or retarded soul who is unaware of what he is doing, not a gloriously brave hero confident in his ideology.

As my nephew noted when he was in Iraq, Zarqawi's people couldn't even find enough suitable subjects among the "sinful" and broken then so the Islamists frequently chose to use people with mental retardation who didn't know any better, and drugs to addle the minds of those who were reluctant.

Islamists are not supermen- they are quite the opposite. Islam is not a superior ideology, it is inherently weak which is why fear of humiliation has such power over their thought processes.

You really don't know Muslims. You “think” you do but you don't really. Trust me on that. Working with a few Muslim men here in US means nothings. The few Muslims living in the US (who you have interacted with) they are able to make it here because they come from relatively richer upper class families, with good education, a bit westernized and actually much better assimilated here in US them most other countries.

The Muslims from third world Muslim countries are a whole different breed of which you have no idea. I have lived in 3 different Muslim countries and also lived in Europe.

You brought up Pakis, so lets talk about Pakistan. An average Pakistani city is 100 times more violent then the MOST violent city in the US. The level of violence that is unimaginable for an average American is just “way of life” in Pakistan. They have a much tougher struggle for survival on the street then what Americans can imagine.

Pakistan has the highest per capita guns in the world. They don't use shotguns like Americans but automatic AK-47s, grenade launchers and RPG. They make Texans look like flower girls. And I am not talking about the military , just average population.

There was this one time the government wanted to demolish illegal constructions in Rawalpindi, the “street protesters” came out not with banners but with Ak-47s and rocket launchers. Americans take their guns and go deer hunting. Pakistanis kill real people.

When there is a riot or a street fight, an average Whitey's first reaction is to call the cops. In Pakistan, a slight rumor and hordes of Muzzies will creep out of every shithole within minutes to join the fight. And this is just street fight. One call for jihad from the local mosque and the whole town blasts their AK-47s in the air.

You want to know Muslims? Go live in Pakistan. Americans are usually advised against going to Pakistan. An average American is a wussy compared to a Paki.

Your analysis is totally off the wall. Your knowledge comes from US BS media, movies and documentaries. In Muslim culture “Fidayeen” is a holy mission. They don't pick the shamed, humiliated or people with unforgivable taboos. That's just nonsense. If you commit a taboo you get stoned or whipped not get to become “shaheed”.

They pick children because they supposed to be virgins and thus Allah's favorite. Yes they do pick the vulnerable ones and yes they do apply indoctrination and psychological pressure. And yes they do use the mentally retarded. But at the same time in Palestine and Afghanistan, thousands have voluntarily signed up or put up their kids for suicide mission. Thousands of them sign up for jihad in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Kashmir,Iraq, Algeria.

“Zarqawi’s people couldn’t even find enough suitable subjects among the “sinful” and broken then so the Islamists frequently chose to use people with mental retardation. “

Wrong. They have been using mentally retarded for a long time. When you are in a prolonged war, your able bodied men are more valuable for real fighting. It’s not like able bodied Muslim men have suddenly found something better to do. Suicide missions are very inefficient and a quick way to lose men and you don’t want your best fighters dying in needlessly in a prolonged war.

Those clashes were due to christian missinories who usually try to lure poor and desprate people to convert by presenting Hinduism as evil ,

you are wrong about that. Graham Steines lived with the poor and was murdered because he gave the poor a voice against the landlords.

Note that the landlords played the religious card to attack Steines

The places where violence HAS occured like in Orissa was due to socio-economic reasons tied to politics.

India has nothing to do with it. It's just a nice way for the Indian government to get political points.

Also, this was a madman who did this, it is NOT symptomatic of some anti-sikh state in America

Ravager -- you ought to take points from salt: Speaking as a Sikh, I don't feel the US government should be apologizing for the Wisconcin shooting...The right to bear arms is something Americans should feel proud of. It is one of the principles that Sikhs Admire Americans for having faith in....Have faith in God, celebrate their lives, get armed and welcome the next attempt.

America mourns the death of their Sikh brothers, fellow Americans.

If it had been 7 whiteys killed IN India your kind would have been singing a different tune. Only because its 7 ragheads so its no no big deal to you.

why are you insulting Sikhs by calling them ragheads?

The Sikhs murdered were Americans. If an American citizen gets killed in India then the American government MUST intervene. If an India citizen gets killed in the USA, then the Indian government must intervene.

In this case, 4 American citizens were murdered by a madman. We mourn their deaths -- they are a loss to this nation.

The Indian government has made a statement as they should for people of Indian origin, but they are sensible enough to see it as a random act of violence, not an anti-Sikh system.

Along with the right to bear arms comes a much greater burden, that is to use the weapon responsibly. That is...to use it only and only in self defense, in defense of others and in service of the nation. Sikhs have that mental discipline, Americans don’t.

Newsflash -- the Sikhs here were Americans. Do they have that mental discipline or not? Because they are 100% red-blooded American Sikhs.

We didn’t invent the term “raghead”. White folks did. go ask them why they call us that.

“The Sikhs murdered were Americans”

Nope. Very likely among them there were permanent residents, dual citizens, foreign student, guest workers, immigrant or non-immigrant aliens, Non-resident Indians and Person of Indian origin. Irrespective of their status, they all have families back home in India and Indians have a genuine cause concern. Your attempt to hide behind their “supposed citizenship status” is just BS.

Relax. Sihks have been given considerable respect here at FR.

If it’s necessary to point out that foreign nationals were among those killed, then it would make sense to offer that up as justification for the reconciliation with India. Otherwise, if the victims were American citizens, then no reconciliation is in order.

And even if they were American citizens......

When an American settles overseas and relinquishes US citizenship, the US government no longer bears any responsibility for them. With India its different. Indian government very often actively intervenes for the safety of her large diaspora expat population settled overseas. US may not like it but that wont stop India from voicing concerns.

I don’t have a problem with India being outraged, but in the case the individuals are American citizens, the argument that the US govt is not obliged to apologize is correct.

I’m doubtful the opposition to the apology/reconciliation is directed towards the Sihks. Likely the frustration is a factor of contempt for the “Hate America” crowd that often speaks ill of the United States.

The massacre was horrific. And I’d extend that same sentiment to any group. The action was definitively unconstitutional, depraved, and cowardly.
