Gay marriage activists are planning to swarm Starbucks on Tuesday in an attempt to counter the record sales from last weeks Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.
The chicken chain enjoyed a surge of support during the Wednesday event, dreamed up by former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee after Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy went on the record backing the biblical definition of the family unit.
A follow-up protest from Chick-fil-A critics on Friday, which was dubbed Same Sex Kiss Day, was more subdued.

Starbucks didnt show much enthusiasm about being chosen as the object of the protestors affection. It's becoming a business liability to be publicly "appreciated" by the homosexual movement.

...nobody can define what, exactly it is that will FINALLY get the little pissants to STFU. Blood and treasure, of course. Historically, blood and treasure are the end that any radical movement seeks for. Nothing else-not even total, unconditional acceptance-will suffice. And once they get it, they will want nothing but more of it.

The reason liberal elites needed more time for a gay 'demonstration' than we did for a straight one is they have to 'organize'.
They'll have paid staff and coordination with friends in the press. Their plan will be to come up with a small number of Starbucks in different cities, throw in a lot of people at say 11:30 or 12:30 and have the press waiting and ready with cameras. It's be staged. Faked.
To fill out the ranks we'll see old ACORN folks, union guys, paid DNC staff - the usual 'rent a crowd'. ..It'll be so different than our grassroots demonstration that anyone with half a brain will see it... Oh, and the press won't notice the difference...

Hummmmm, countering an already popular chicken restaurant with a cultish, overpriced/underquality coffee house.
Calling national attention to Starbucks pro same-sex marriage stance to the millions who might otherwise known about it, like the folks who came out in support of CFA last week.
In their fervor to put CFA “out of business” the just might do irreparable harm to their favorite bath house...er...hangout.
Those ugly “unintended consequences” are revisiting the left again.

Any day would be a good day to have Dunkin Donuts or even greasy spoon inc. coffee rather than that stuff Starbucks sells, yuck! Overpriced and undrinkable.

Does anyone remember the liberals response to the TEA Party? It was supposed to be called Coffee Talk, the local tv stations covered it with interviews of the promoters, and that was the last I ever heard about it.

The gay activists are about to do for Starbucks what they’ve done for J.C. Penney.

Nothing better than liberals suddenly discovering that there are actually people who disagree with them. They work so very hard at insulating themselves from reality.
Let them drink Starbucks, won’t make any difference.

It tastes exactly like coffee thats been sitting on the hot plate all day.

Sure they’ll swarm it... sure they will. Just like they did at Chick-Fil-As across the country.
You don’t have the numbers, homos. Get over it.

Mrs. Thorne and I used to buy Starbuck's French Roast coffee in the 2.5 lb. bags at Costco, but no more. We dropped them when they "came out of the closet".
Now, we are drinking a lot of Lock-N-Load coffee which is veteran owned and donates $1 to military charities for every bag sold. It's good coffee and we enjoy buying from a patriotic business that support the troops.

I read on another site that Rush Limbaugh listeners are “angry white males who sit in mall courts discussing gay marriage...” Does this mean that Starbucks is a place where angry gay males go to check out each other’s butts and say “groovy” or “yummy” or whatever the vernacular?

Simply put: I agree about DD.

Lets help them do it!!
I bet sales (total) GO DOWN for that day, and Starbucks might learn a lesson
Let’s get Huckabee to promote this! (to be fair, after all) and see how much sales decline
