At least there is a new producer like NG as opposed to the onslaught of coal in Ohio will help. Many states will have no luck when coal is destroyed without NG.

Problem is NG is 250% higher cost than coal and that doesn’t count having to build new plants. Coal is a far more efficient source than NG or anything else.

Actually there is quite the glut of NG. Coal companies are running out of storage place for coal, because they are locked in to coal contracts that will cost them $$ to cancel. Meanwhile they can’t sell the coal generated power because NG plants are undercutting their prices.
I have relatives in SoDak. Last I heard, they were paying around .085/kWh for electricity.
There are also a lot of wind turbines as you drive West on I-90. New huge transmission lines are being installed across Wisconsin to deliver that power to the cities from Madison, WI to Milwaukee and points East.
This is all being fast-tracked by the zer0 administration, according to WI locals who are fighting the transmission towers.
Yes, they admit cost will go up for those who will not receive the power, but who will have the transmission lines going across their property.
When they hit, we need to be prepared to saturate the American consciousness with the phrase “Obama Blackouts”.

Which is why we need to use as much coal as possible and heat our houses with NG. We need to keep energy production as cheap as possible to rebuild this economy. Coal costs .04 per KW while NG is around .10 although dropping as we bring more production.
Still makes more sense to burn dirt than NG especially with the technology we have today. The CO2 fraud should be discredited and ignored which is what closed these plants.
