Well, Thank Goodness, Florida doesn’t have any moose. (No...I am wrong...there is a lodge nearby in North Lauderdale!)

Not too many guard rails either...they impede the alligators and crocodiles when they want to warm their bellies on the sun-soaked pavement.

But yes, I am very careful driving my bike along the Geezer Plateau. (That’s where all the drivers are over 90, and are in De Nile about letting go of their license)

Don’t mind me...I am having a punny day.

I need to go to my inlaws’ house and pick up two ladders he no longer needs since they moved into an apartment.

He also gave us two - three pound coffee cans - about 3/4 full of pennies. I’ll roll them during the heat of the day.

Good Mornin’,...((HUGS))

This afternoon another Open House with a company in the job search. Did one yesterday at 11:00 am. Have another tomorrow at 3:00 pm. Still trying my hardest to get back to work.

Looks like things maybe improving with companies holding Open Houses to search for emplyees.

I don’t like this -2yr taste of Retirement that I’ve had.

p.s. did you read where Maryland is thinking of putting cameras on stop signs?

and get this...

DC is already considering a traffic-enforcement plan that would include stop-sign cameras and ones that could detect and ticket vehicles speeding up to get through a yellow light.

This is just too damn much!

Closure is final after 46 years for Vietnam pilot's survivors

WASHINGTON - Air Force Lt. Col. Charles M. Walling was flying his F-4C over Vietnam 46 years ago when he disappeared over Song Be Province, leaving behind a pregnant wife and a 22-month-old son.

Jeff Walling said it was hard for him and his younger brother, Mike, to grow up in a state of "limbo," not knowing what had happened to their father, from Phoenix.

They got some closure when their father's remains were found in 2010 and later identified.

On Wednesday - the 46th anniversary of the day Walling and a fellow airman disappeared - the two servicemen were honored in a group burial ceremony with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
