Obama Camp's Top Ten Most Audacious Lies (And Why They're Working)

The real goal of the Obama campaign is to rob Romney of an aura of competence; to disqualify him in the minds of voters by making them believe Romney isn't up to the job of being president. After all, voters will ask themselves consciously and subconsciously, if you can't run a presidential campaign, how can you run the federal government and the military?

The tools by which the Obama campaign and the media are using to trip up Romney's campaign and to undermine his competence are, however, these relentless attacks on his wealth, Bain, and taxes. And it's just a fact that most of these attacks come in the form of audacious lies. But there's no question that the hurling of these outrageous lies automatically puts Romney and his campaign into a defensive crouch -- they look reactive, unable to get a message out, and therefore weak, unable to lead, and ineffective.

Obama's overall goal isn't to stereotype Romney as Scrooge McDuck, his overall goal is -- by any means he can -- to win the "Devil You Know" campaign. And if that's your goal, one way to accomplish it is to keep Romney and his team forever on defense and explaining and smothered in distractions that never allow them to come up for oxygen and talk about a message. And it doesn’t matter how dirty or dishonest what your hurling is -- all that matters is keeping your opponent off-balance so he looks foolish.

After all, voters will ask themselves consciously and subconsciously, if you can't run a presidential campaign, how can you run the federal government and the military?

How true that is.

Obama is a born liar...everything about him is a lie. He is a devil!

And this is what Romney must run against and defeat, if he is to save the country and our civilization from the Marxist.

I know of only one antidote against THE Lie...and that is the truth.

And the truth must be delivered with such viciousness and ruthlessness and so relentlessly that there is no doubt.

The only way to defeat a lie is to expose it for what it is.

And the only way to expose a lie for what it is...is to hold it up against a backdrop of the Truth.

Romney has quite a job ahead of him. I imagine that he is beginning to realize just what an incredible job it is.

I posted this earlier about Romney’s continuing to let that truism leak out of him, this time the McDonalds story that he told “to relate to the common man”.

“The message is not that he ate common food, but that he wanted it free.

He would have eaten anywhere if the millionaire corporate head issued the millionaire governor a personally signed, rich/powerful people don’t pay, card.

Regular people, working people, people who are in a recession don’t want to hear how the rich pamper and fawn over each other, and then how a greedy rich man will eat McDonalds just because it’s free and saves him pennies.

This story is so typical of Mitt, he may as well be a Martian, I bet $10,000.00 that average Americans flinch at this tale of the rich and powerful.”

And the truth must be delivered with such viciousness and ruthlessness and so relentlessly that there is no doubt.

I admit up front that the proof will be in the pudding but I strongly predict that Sept. 5 - the first day after the RNC Convention and Romney's acceptance speech - we will see an ad equivalent of shock-and-awe that will be massive, targeted and continuous and is based on key lines from Romney's acceptance speech.

These ads will include all the slow curve balls that we have seen emanating from the Obama presidency - "too big to fail" "at some point you've made enough" "never let a crisis go to waste" "the private sector is doing just fine" "you didn't build that, somebody else did" etc. - with the strategic knowledge that O and Co. and the compliant media will howl and effectively give life to each ad, not to mention free advertizing.

These outrageous polls that produce lop-sided results by tipping the scale heavy with Democrats have NOT had a major effect while the more credible ones - Gallup and especially Rasmussen - show Romney holding his own and gaining. While the vile inventiveness of the leftist media and pols will surely never cease, O and Co. will not be able to simply brush aside a barrage of ads that directly quote - via video clips - Obama, Carney, Chu, Napolitano, Holder, Biden, etc. That's the key. You almost don't need to have anyone do a voice over except to posit a question at the beginning and then load up the ad with either a long direct quote, a collection of short clips, or a series of this-was-then clips matched with this-is-now clips.

Bottom line is while the Romney campaign is indeed advertizing and defending themselves, they are doing a mid-level of intensity while O and Co. are shooting their smaller wad of cash and having almost no result. That tends to happen when most people know somebody in their own circle of family and friends has been hit hard by the economy. But come September 5th the real barrage begins and when the base sees Romney sticking it to O and Co. both continuously and effectively then the donations will just keep flowing in and it will become a self-perpetuating financial model for sixty-five days that will keep O and Co. mostly on the defensive.

Romney has a huge problem he has NO control over. It's called '0bamamedia', owned and operated by the current insurgent regime. It's tough to fight PRAVDA but I do think Romney needs to counter 0bama's audacious claims with SERIOUS ATTACKS ON 0BAMA'S ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES WHILE IN OFFICE, such as funneling tax money to Solyndra for the purpose of reaping campaign donations in return. All of 0bama's ILLEGAL meddling at the NLRB w/Boeing, Fast & Furious, unilaterally overturning FEDERAL LAWS without consent from Congress (Romney doesn't even need to name them, just call 0bama out on his illegal actions), ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC..

Romney needs to call 0bama "a rogue DICTATOR", "a campaigner not a PRESIDENT", "someone who lies about his past (his book is FULL of lies and fantasy individuals)", specifically cite what the LIES are in the 0bama ads.. ROMNEY NEEDS TO CITE BY NAME THE FASCISTS, MARXISTS, PROGRESSIVES, SOCIALISTS WORKING IN OUR GOVERNMENT (Sunstein, Geithner, Holder, Jarrett, Holdren).. ROMNEY NEEDS TO REVEAL ALL THE STUFF OBAMA AND THE MEDIA HIDES FROM THE PUBLIC. "Arab Spring" is a LIE (Muslim Brotherhood).. 0bama let our classified drone fall into the Iranian's hands INSTEAD OF DESTROYING OR RECOVERING IT.. State that "NONE OF OUR NATIONAL SECURITY SECRETS ARE SAFE UNDER THIS ADMINISTRATION.. THE LEAKS FLOW LIKE A RAGING RIVER", etc.. There are heaps and mounds of criminal activities Romney could NAIL 0bama on!

Romney needs to remind America that we have a teleprompter for President. That Obama hasn't taken questions from the WH Press Corp in how many weeks now?? EIGHT WEEKS??? That's a DICTATORSHIP, PEOPLE!!!!! Obama is accountable to no one. Why does Eric Holder STILL HAVE HIS JOB???? Where is Romney on THAT one??? "WHERE'S YOUR APPLICATION AND TRANSCRIPTS FROM COLUMBIA, OBAMA?? DID YOU EVEN GO THERE, BECAUSE WE CAN'T FIND A SINGLE PERSON WHO REMEMBERS YOU FROM COLUMBIA, OBAMA?? FOR A POPULAR, CHARISMATIC GUY YOU SURE FELL OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH WHILE AT COLUMBIA.. WHERE WERE YOU, OBAMA?? IN PAKISTAN FOR A YEAR AND NOT 'JUST FOR THE SUMMER'!!! Etc, etc, etc!!!

What about 0bama/Holder's despiccable treatement of Arizona? Refusing to let Arizona screen their detainees records from ICE?? What about our border agents being punished for not treating illegals like they were American citizens.. What about 0bama/Holder SUE SUE SUING STATES??? Arizona, Alabama.. Suing States for their Voter ID requirements EVEN THOUGH THE SCOTUS RECENTLY RULED (APR. 2008) THAT VOTER ID WAS CONSTITUTIONAL!!

What about the 0bama administration FALSIFYING a committee report to make it appear as though 'experts' agreed with 0bama's oil drilling moratoriums when in deed they didn't? THAT WAS A FELONY!!

What about 0bama's forced ethanol mandate AT THE WORST POSSIBLE TIME OF EXTREME DROUGHT AND SHORTAGE OF EDIBLE CORN AS A RESULT??

Romney must CONSTANTLY QUESTION 0BAMA'S REJECTION OF THE KEYSTONE PIPELINE.. HE MUST BEAT THIS DRUM DAILY AND TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THAT WE COULD HAVE HAD 500,000 BARRELS OF OIL PER DAY AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS!!! IS THIS DONE BY A MAN WHO IS 'TRYING REALLY HARD' TO HELP AMERICA'S ECONOMY? SOUNDS MORE LIKE SABOTAGE TO ME!!!

Get your boxing gloves on Romney!! And yes, Paul Ryan is an ideal running mate with all the right qualifications and abilities. Pick Ryan, PLEASE!!!

I also meant to add that probably within ten days or so the VP candidate will be revealed and this will create a mini-barrage of ads - some probably already in the can - that will incorporate Romney and VP into the major themes to be highlighted at the convention ten days later and then expanded in a barrage thereafter till Nov.

And since I didn't say so above, I will also add that John Nolte is simply wrong in stating Romney has been defined and thus will not be able to define himself. A nominating convention automatically gives a candidate - particularly a challenger - the official stamp of legitimacy and thus more moral authority when making the case for their candidacy and defining their vision.
