Paul Ryan works for me. He is wicked smart as apposed to Slow Joe Biden and is articulate.

I see also per Drudge—Romney’s plane parked in Paul Ryan’s hometown.

Slaughter the chicken, read the entrails.

Still Voodoo politics at this point. Maybe Mitt has chosen, maybe not.

And just maybe, it won’t make jack WHO he chooses. The Democrats will just as willingly demonize one as another.

The mysterious plane report has already been debunked.

I really like Paul Ryan but I don’t know if he will help the ticket that much. I’m not sure he can deliver Wisconsin. He is without a doubt the smartest of the choices about the economy.

Paul Ryan is a member of the CFR.

The Council on Foreign Relations is not some benign club for politicians and policy wonks. They do have an agenda.

Ryan works. I would prefer that he stay in Congress for a few more years because we need as many conservatives there as we can get, but he’s better than a RINO or somebody ineligible like Jindal.

Instead of worrying about Romney’s VP pick, you all should be more concerned about a lack of spunk in his campaign. When is Romney going to come out swinging?

I've seen Ryan on the tube respond to 'gotcha' questions from DNC Media types by saying, "I don't agree with the premise of your question", rather than accepting the slanted question as valid and then getting lost in the weeds trying to answer it.

Romney could learn something from Ryan. Be forceful, direct, make no apologies and don't accept the premise of biased/slanted questions or statements.

Carry Wisconsin and MI and maybe Ohio with Ryan? Maybe...

Devoid of any semblance of fiscal sanity with him gone in the House and no one to fill Boehner's seat? Sure.

That is my fear, we need him to get through some real cost reductions, much like Ford's and many other Corporate turn-arounds.

I am not sure as VP he can do it from that slot...

I like Ryan, he is one of the few people courageous enough to even hint at the economic realities facing this republic and offering a proposed solution.

Looking at his biography however, it seems the inspiration for his political career came from reading Ayn Rand. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)You can bet your bippie that will be one of the first aspects of his past vetted by the media. Obama’s romance with Bill Ayers and communism? Nothing to see there. Ryan and Rand? A cruel social darwinist- mark my words, it will come.

Can Ryan run without giving up his seat? I’d love to see him for VP but want to hedge my bets!

#7. I saw him coming out of a Chick-fil-A and he was wearing a fake moustache.

[That should be the clincher that he’s the pick.]
