A Florida woman claims that police pulled her over for a minor traffic infraction, strip searched her on the side of the road, and “forcibly removed” a tampon that she was wearing....
The woman... filed a lawsuit against the Citrus County government, Sheriff Jeffrey Dawsey and six unknown officers last week seeking damages....
The policeman, the lawsuit says, then pulled her over, approached with his gun drawn and put Tarantino in handcuffs while her two small children — ages one and four — watched...
Over the next two hours, five other policemen arrived, including a female officer, and Tarantino was “frisked and strip searched twice at the side of the busy road, in plain view of passers by.” During one of these searches, the female officer “forcibly removed” the tampon...

yeah, we need more cops on the streets because that will make us soooo much safer.
Technically a tampon is concealed, but it’s the “weapon” part they’re going to have a hard time getting to ...err...stick?

However, something smells very shi....er...very Obama-y here.
I’d pause a while to check the er...background...of the claimant.
Doesn’t look good. Let’s wait and see what unravels on this one. Some people have some great sounding stories that vaporize over time.

If the officers are guilty, I support throwing the book at them.
I’m outraged at this. Six f’n cops - they need to downsize badly if this is the cr@p they are doing on taxpayers money. They need to lose their jobs and spend some time in the slammer. I hope, then, her husband sues them all over again!

Look I agree, but you are jumping to the conclusion that these charges are without a doubt true. Hang in there. If true, these guys are finished as officers, and will get time.
I’m willing to wait a bit for more info...This doesn’t sound logical at all. To remove her tampon (as claimed) the officer would have had to remove her underware and have her naked on the side of the road. Others (including the police dash cam) would have seen this. And if her tampon was properly inserted it would take a bot for someone else to remove it.
If there is video of this, at least one of these cops could get a paid suspension.
Don’t worry. I googled her house and went and shot the dog.

Driving through my local town (small town Oregon) last weekend, I witnessed a young woman pushing a baby-laden stroller who was surrounded by three KFPD officers... One motorcycle and two patrol cars. I wanted to shout to them that they should call for more backup, but didn’t have a good angle.
All three cops sporting skinheads.
