No, it’s not a joke. I hope that I am wrong. I LIKE Ryan... a lot. I just worry about his baggage regarding medicare and hope the seniors don’t decide to not vote or vote Dem. I didn’t cite the DUmpster as proof. I was just pointing out they were saying what some of my family and friends were saying.

Supreme Court Justice Eric Holder will be sending you a ‘Thank you’ card sometime between now and 2016.

That says a lot about you.

As does your obsession with harrassing a person who has a different opinion than you.
Seek help.

I believe that you were the first to post this to me:

“I’m not and there’s just as many of me as there are of you.”

Nope. You started posting to me.
And all because you got your panties in a bunch over me calling the Romney/Ryan ticket boring.
In my opinion, it is.

You need to find a new person to mess with.
I believe that's all you really want to do.

Ahhhhh well. I guess you’re not a “math” person.

I like the aptitude Ryan has for numbers. Obama probably cannot even do simple algebra....let alone add (outside of what he does with our debt), subtract, etc.

It was honestly NOT my intention to harass you in any way.

I have no intention of insulting your family or friends but you should inform them of their ignorance in this regard. The Dems are claiming and your family and friends seem to believe Ryan would take away their Medicare and SS. But look carefully at how it is phrased. The claim is made in this way,"Paul Ryan (Rep, Romney etc)will take away Medicare (SS) as we know it today".

These programs "as we know them today> are headed for insolvency and will of NECESSITY be changed anyway. What Ryan is suggesting will fix the plans sooner so the fix will be less painful rather then later when any cuts or tax increases will of necessity be greater. Ask your friends to explain where any Rep ever claimed to want to deprive seniors of their health care or other retirement benefits? It never happened and you must explain this to them

A very good friend of mine and a Conservative like myself were discussing (years ago) the Geo Bush plan to privatize SS. Now this guy was a previous worker on many campaigns locally and at the State level (Republican) and could be expected to know what was going on. Not so. He believed that allowing people to invest their retirement money in the Stock Market is dangerous and should not happen so he was against the SS privatization.

I explained to him that first of all the program was 100% voluntary and one could stay in the current system. Also no one over 55 could leave the present system and finally the investment vehicles would be strictly limited within the individuals retirement account to savings accounts, Cd;s our own government debt instruments and balanced equity funds. I also explained what I believed was the best feature of the proposed changes which is the retiree maintains complete ownership of the account and upon their death can have what is left passed on to their family. These are things my friend, who believed he knew what was going on did not know because he never took the time to investigate and instead watched the networks for his news. I convinced him to check out what I said and he did. He then agreed it was a good idea, explained it properly to his wife who also agreed and he said he would tell his 3 grown children.

My rather long point here is that we cannot depend only on the candidates to get their messages out through a media which is heavily biased. We all must do our part by speaking to family and friends.

I'm sick to death of people who don't have the slightest idea what it means to live and breathe - and yes - perhaps even die, for the concepts this nation was founded upon.

If you are willing to roll over and accept a statist liberal as your presidential nominee, then what possible good would you be to the cause of liberty in a blood and bullets fight?

Personally, I think people like that would be the first to kneel to the enemy and betray the patriots they once pretended to stand with.

If Paul Ryan was at the top of the ticket that would matter.

I think it still matters. I know that many people are praying for our nation. Romney CERTAINLY was not my choice....but I believe that God hears our prayers ...and HE can certainly make lemonade out of lemons. I believe that Ryan will have a very positive impact ... no matter where he is.

;-)

Let’s keep praying.

VERY good post!

If my husband and I had been allowed to invest our SS money in a manner that we chose to....we would have far more today than we actually do.

Ryan is going to HELP people with his plan. If we go the way the Dems want....NO ONE will have any kind of social security.

And you are right....the correct information NEEDS to be spread.

Well aren’t you two just the most wonderful “patriots” ever?

Poor babies, you didn’t get your choice as nominee so now it’s time to say kiss my as* to the rest of America, her future and all she has stood for since the landing of our Founding Fathers.

Just THINK how wonderful and righteous you will feel if the nation crumbles around you and you stand there proudly claiming “I told you so”. Good for you because YOU have principles and what can be more important then YOUR principles? Certainly not the welfare of the entire country and all her citizens present and future? LOL, what the hell, that’s not so important, certainly not as importaant as with holding your vote and thereby ADDING Obama vote to the Obama column.

Oh wait I know, you will be voting down ticket right? By doing that you can assure yourself you didn’t sit home and when it all comes apart it wasn’t the fault of you and those like you, the absolute purists. Well guess what? This asswipe of a freakin’ president has shown he has no problem telling the Congress to take a flying fu*k through a rolling donut and will bypass Congress whenever he wants. So much for voting down ticket.

Lokk up the word “Prority”. Some things are more important then others and those things will change with the situation. If your in a house on fire the first PRIORITY is to get the hell OUT of the house and not to concentrate on making sure the TV is turned off. NOW, TODAY we need to get this disaster OUT of the WH and we need to get Harry F’n Reid OUT as Senate majority leader and we cannot do that unless we put up more votes then the leeches on the left do.

Romney sucks, ok? HE SUCKS but he will be the nominee and he will be all we have so we have to do the best we can with what we have. Sitting home in a fit of juvenile petulence doesn’t do anything for Americas future.

Herew is the bottom line and it all goes back to PRIORITIES. Do you REALLY think a Romney/Ryan Admin would NOT be an improvement over the sh*t we have now? If so then do what you want but if this is what you really believe my take is you have not been paying attention to what the scumbag in the WH has brought upon us since 2009.

“Do you REALLY think a Romney/Ryan Admin would NOT be an improvement over the sh*t we have now?”

First let me say FU newbie...

Romney is not a conservative. I REALLY REALLY REALLY think the country electing a liberal pretending to be a conservative and supported by the GOP for potentially eight years is much worse than reelecting a liberal opposed at every step by the GOP. I'm not a Republican and I don't vote for liberals..

LOL, “Fu*k you newbie”

That it? The best you can do?

On that point if a man such as an Albert Einstein or another with a similar level of intellect were to come to this forum and register and go on to post his thoughts, would you be so derisive of them simply because they are “newbies”? If there were a football board here and Joe Montana signed on to give his thoughts would you trash him not just because you disagree with him but because he was a “newbie”

I am not claiming to have an intellect such as this but my larger point and question is what has someones time here on the forum have to do with their ideas and comments on any given subject?

I feel very strongly about getting rid of Obama and I personally think there is no greater priority today anywhere in the nation. It is my PERSONAL feeling as are my expressions of frustration with those who have a different point of view.

I think not voting for Romney is wrong not because I want Romney to win but far more because I want Obama to lose. I was not attempting to offend you with what I said and I am disappointed you had to reply as you did with profanity directed at me personally.
