After a long and sharply contested GOP primary battle, many Republicans, conservatives and tea-party types have been left questioning whether they can, in good conscience, vote for Mitt Romney in November.
Romneys statements as a former advocate of legalized abortion, his hotly contested record on same-sex marriage and his health-care reforms while governor of Massachusetts sometimes maligned as Romneycare have left conservatives uncertain if the presumptive Republican nominee is really one of their own.
Tea-party darling and former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, however, is basically dismissing the concerns, telling Fox News Channels Shannon Bream that Romney has the Republican Partys conservative base in the bag.
On Americas News Headquarters over the weekend, host Bream asked Palin if Romneys choice of Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., as running mate would help persuade those not completely sold on the name at the top of the GOP ticket...

This election is the last exit ramp before the cliff.
It may very well be too late as it is, but if we take this exit, we’ll have a few more years, at least, before it all comes crashing down. The math can’t be denied.
I still wish she’d have run, but Palin convinced me long ago that ABO was the only answer.
She’s a coward...she’s selling out her soul...she’s GOP -e...she’s a liberal RINO...help me out here...that’s about all I can come up with.
As usual, Palin makes good sense.
She’s obviously no-good baby killing RINO scum.....
Can’t believe she didn’t go all-in for Virgil whatsisname.
She must have been reading my posts for the past year.
Obama again would mean the end of America as we know it. The beacon for freedom would be extinguished - permanently. I’m beginning to think that Romney wants to be not just president, but a “successful” two-term president, regardless of what he accomplishes. If we can put him in office with an overwhelmingly conservative House and a republican Senate, both of which are very likely, then I think he will follow their lead just to get accomplishments and a legacy that the history books can cite in his favor. Romney is not a conservative, not even “severely conservative” despite his claims otherwise. Still, President Romney might follow Candidate Romney’s lead in that direction if he has a Congress that forces him in that direction.
We have to remove Obama from office..we have no choice in the matter. I am no fan of Romney, never liked him, never will, but we have to defeat Obama. Obama is a Communist and his thugs want this country destroyed. The Communist Party USA already said recently that now is a great time to be a Communist in this country. We dont have a choice because our country is at the brink of tyranny. Obama’s supporters are scared, scared that they might lose, God knows what they will do between now and November to stop the election from taking place, now is truly scary times
“Shes a coward...”
bk you off your meds again ?
I’m still a free man and gave up caring what the popular kids think in middle school.
Don’t you mean Wrong Paul? Or Tom Halfling?
I don't know..lost your sense of humor again?
A Pawn of Evil!
(What a fellow Freeper called me last week.)
See my tagline.
Whoa! Saint Sarah Has SPOKEN!!
That oughta make some heads pop around here.
The damage done by FDR, LBJ, BHO and years of liberal (Rat and RINO) Congress rule has put this nation into an unrecoverable death spiral. The gimme gimme gimme mindset answered with more and more permanent entitlements and handouts has turned the culture into parasites who cannot exist on their own anymore.
Don't forget the American voters. If it is unrecoverable they have a lot to do with it.
