In a swipe at the GOP presidential ticket, senior Obama adviser David Axelrod on Tuesday defended President Barack Obama’s handling of Medicare.
“The president … took away subsidies, unwarranted subsidies, to insurance companies, and he used that money to help lengthen the life of Medicare by nearly a decade,” Axelrod said on CNN’s Starting Point, referencing a provision of the new health care law. “So when Gov. Romney says he doesn’t support that, obviously … that’s problematical.” …

No, Obama cutting $700 billion out of Medicare to fund his Obama care disaster is bankrupting Medicare.

The question is not WHO will bankrupt Medicare, but WHEN. One side is in a hurry, the other is sauntering, but they’re both headed there.
What he means to say is, “Romney will take away our power to scare the living daylights out of senior citizens in order to frighten them into voting for us.”..............
Obama will bankrupt Medicare and the country. Ryan has a plan to save Medicare thtat doesn’t even touch Medicare for current seniors.
Obama also mandated a 15% oerating margin for insurance companies. The average operating margin prior to this was about 30%, so he mandated that they provide more services for half the operating money. That’ll work, I’m sure.
The Federal government is bankrupt in all but name, and therefore, so are all its programs.
What Axlerod is thinking is "Why bankrupt Medicare when we have the opportunity to destroy the whole of our economic system".
He considers Romney a wimp for not going for more.
Still trying to figure out how a fiscal hawk like Ryan got picked by the author of Romneycare, but I’m hoping that one of the deals Ryan made was “I do the budget.”

Today’s seniors are not the seniors of yesteryear. The Baby Boomer Generation is quickly taking over the title. They don’t remember Roosevelt, The Great Depression or The New Deal. They are more college educated than the previous generation and are more savvy to the lies and distortions of government agencies and politicians. They were the idealists and the cultural drivers of the 50’s 60’s and 70’s. They were also the high wage earners and family raisers of the 80’s and 90’s. They don’t scare as easy as the old FDR Democrat Seniors of the past. They know better, because they have seen it better..................
Obama’s people are telling us what the king will complete doing once he gets his second term. Whatever they are accusing is their m.o.
The media have given Obama a pass on his cutting $700 billion out of Medicare. We’re not supposed to talk about that. Instead, we’re supposed to be scared of Paul Ryan throwing Granny off the cliff.
What else will come out about Ryan? I’m just waiting for the liberals to talk about how he worked as a young man for Oscar Meyer, and that he drove the Weinermobile. The liberal comedians will have lots of fun with that. And they will say, how does someone who drives the Weinermobile get elected to Congress, LOL, and basically do the dunce Dan Quayle thing on him.
Now that is a picture of what you call a target rich environment!

stolen 3/4 TRILLION dollars from Medicare.
