Do Crosses at Catholic University Violate “Human Rights” of Muslims?
Fox News ^ | 10-26-11

The Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights confirmed that it is investigating allegations that Catholic University violated the human rights of Muslim students by not allowing them to form a Muslim student group and by not providing them rooms without Christian symbols for their daily prayers.

The investigation alleges that Muslim students “must perform their prayers surrounded by symbols of Catholicism – e.g., a wooden crucifix, paintings of Jesus, pictures of priests and theologians which many Muslim students find inappropriate.”

A spokesperson for the Office of Human Rights told Fox News they had received a 60-page complaint against the private university. The investigation, they said, could take as long a six months.

Sharia Law is the poison pill they are going to use to erase all other cultures but theirs, unless we can kill political correctness.

Why is it that the muzzies always have to bitch?

The is a very valuable lesson here. The desire to complain, isn't limited to Muslims, but is a natural course for anybody who continually denies what God provides them.

The first stage of stepping out of fellowship with God is described as grieving the Holy Spirit. Latter stages are referred to as Quenching the Holy Spirit.

In the first stages, the person rebelling from God is simply rejecting God and what He provides. In the latter stages they begin to attack God and what He provides.

The worldly person, from a christian culture, is easily deceived into believing they can create a worldly system independent of God, even if they aren't giving themselves over to Him, and still maintain the Christian culture or even an unbiased worldly culture.

This isn't the case. When living in the worldly system, divorced from God and what He provides, we degenerate into further stages and begin to not only hate Him, but seek to attack Him and what He provides.

Not only will Muslims attack the Church, but also those who are not Muslim, (not in fellowship with God), may be tempted to counterfeit His institutions, seeking a substitute for what He provides independent of Him.

They will tend to attack the Church, in order to build a body of secular humanism or any other form of religious construct, even under the guise of agnosticism or atheism to satiate their lust to attack Him. They will ignore the source of their urge, to only attack Him even more.

While Muslims might manifest this degenerate thinking, it is also common amongst anybody who rejects what He provides and isn't satiable, but will seek complete destruction of God and everything He provides.

Muslims have no “right” to invade a Catholic-paid-for university.

It’s apparent to me that the Muzzies have won. There will be no stopping them from the passive Christians. They are the ones that have allowed this infiltration. We were only a great nation when we fired back at hostile enemies with our destructive powers. No more. We were sold out from within. The Fed Reserve has us enslaved & the barbarians will soon pick our bones.

Ya know what violates human rights? A sword to the neck, a bullet to the brain and a bomb at a pizza parlor.

If that last sentence sounds like a muslim modus operendi, well then, maybe it is.

I think you are correct. Several years ago Georgetown took down their crucifixes so that they didn't offend students who were not Catholic.

It was the Muslim students who asked that they be put back on the walls. They said that they certainly expected that there would be crucifixes on the walls since they were attending a Catholic University and were perfectly aware that there would be symbols and other things Catholic in the environment.

They seemed to be offended that the University did not recognize the fact that they were intelligent enough to know what to expect at a school that was established and identified as Catholic when they enrolled.

Does the fact that Christians are not even allowed to worship openly in Muslim countries violate THEIR human rights?

At least Muslims are allowed to worship openly, even at schools that also display symbols of the oldest Christian faith.

But don’t you see, the whole point is to dominate and intimidate the university into stripping itself of its
Christian identity, opening the way for Islamic dominance

Do Crosses at Catholic University Violate “Human Rights” of Muslims?

Do a crescent moons at the Islamic American University in Southfield Michigan violate "Human Rights" of Christians?

As pointed out by a couple posters, it appears the lawsuit was filed by a law professor, but not based on any complaints by Muslim students. The article isn’t explicit about this. It appears the issue here should be the attorney rather than Muslim students.

If this attorney is not a muslim and attending the university, he has no standing and he should be prosecuted for barratry.

Depending on the state, disbarment should be the result.

Correct it was by some whacko law professor from one the Georges in DC. No Muslim student actually complained. Talk about not having standing.
