Actual quote: "Romney wants to let the he said in the first 100 days, hes going to let the big banks once again write their own rules. Unchain Wall Street. Theyre going to put yall back in chains. "
Washington Post's rewrite:
at a Virginia rally by Vice President Biden that Romneys plans to loosen Wall Street regulations would put yall back in chains to go after his opponents. Washington Post rewritten version
When I see someone pulling a Post from a coin box, I ask them if they like being told lies.
It’s been edited on all the radio reports too.
When it happened I knew it was not an accident.
You can't even trust Fox.
They are playing the walked back version. Biden clarified his comments and the old comments went down the memory hole.
Bidens comments down the memory hole?
Except for the several million who can and will visit DRUDGE and see the words as well as the video. The worst thing the Left must deal with these days is there inability to control the message and bury their mistakes.
Once it’s on the web it will always be available.
ABC World News Tonight carried the full remarks last night, so at least the few people who comprise their audience got to see it.
They amazingly played the full remarks on Today Show, too. I was expecting otherwise.
Fox just played the video on America’s Newsroom .
BTW , when you read the quote , it always is printed as he said “ going “ . He clearly says “ gonna “ .
It would be interesting to search through all of Biden’s public speeches and see how often he uses the word ‘y’all.’
Even on a very conservative site like the Washington Free Beacon (linked from Drudge), they edit it to say "THEY'RE GOING TO put y'all back in chains. He said HE'S GOING TO do nothing about STOPPING the practice of outsourcing..." LINK
Biden was clearly speaking down to his audience, in the same way that Obama and Hillary have done in the past, but when it gets put into print, the inflection is papered over so that it appears as if he was just speaking normally (except for the word "y'all").
“Once its on the web it will always be available.”
Who do you believe, Obama or your lying ears? :)
