President Obama has no intention of getting rid of Vice President Biden as his running mate, the White House said Thursday.
Republicans are being ridiculous and are trying to distract attention with their focus on Vice President Biden and his controversial comments earlier this week, White House press secretary Jay Carney said.
They know that what they're saying about this is ridiculous," Carney said at a briefing with reporters, adding that it's an obvious attempt to take attention away from policy issues.
Obama’s ego demands Biden...(slow white boy)
This is a gift.
Agreed!...Ryan will slice and dice Joe.
Baffles me why they didn’t just put out a lame, simple apology about his embarrassing chains remark? It would have blown over by now, no one would be talking about it. It would just be chalked up to another “Ole’ Joe” gaffe. But by refusing to apologize and even endorsing it, it makes them look awfully bad.
Looks like Hillary said “no”.
It is a BIG TIME gift and it will remind the Hillary supporters of the Obama stab in the back in 2008. A win-win situation and although they say they are not taking advice from McCain, McCain is just being used as an excuse. It was Palin that got under their skin and tore up their Hillary trump card. EVERYONE heard about Palin’s advice, and hardly anyone heard about McCain’s comment.
So the Dims are going with “Dopey Joe” instead of “Rhino Haunches Clinton”
Looks like Hillary said no.
...and laughed all the way out of the White House.
“Until he has a mysterious heart attack.”
That’s what I think too. A “heart attack” will happen and Joe will be near death. The news media will be all over it and ascribe it to negative Romney/Ryan tactics. A new veep will be announced. Then Joe will be in critical condition throughout the rest of the campaign and the news media will use this to keep Republicans from taking a tough line against O.
I love Joe!
Dopey Joe will provide a lot more entertainment. He should be on Pay-per-view.
President Urkel and Vice President Doofus....what a great team they make!
i’ll breathe a sigh of relief for now. Hillary must have flat out refused the proposition.
The cast is set, the lights are ready, let the fun begin!
Maybe he should pick Lieberman? That might be the only thing that keeps the Jewish vote.
I say that O knows Joe’s got to go but does not want to be the one to do it — so, at the convention, they will make it “appear” that by overwhelming choice of the Dems in attendance another name is sumbitted. But, for the life of me I cannot think of anyone strong enough to help him on the Dem side.

Lets Roll!
Hillary is WAY TOO popular, especially with women and independents, and that's why the thought of an Obama/Clinton scares me--A LOT! They WOULD be a formidable team--and a lot of the "blue-collar" Dems would rally around Hillary, who would not doubt promise a return to the "golden days" of the Clinton era.
I will keep praying that--as your post suggests--Obama's ego is too big to share the spotlight with Hillary.
In any case, the LAST thing this country needs is 4 years of Obama AND Hillary. So--please--keep praying God will be merciful and NOT give this country what, I fear, it might just well deserve!
Very good idea. I would love to have him draw the Democrat convention to a snoozing halt in the same way he killed the Palin momentum at the GOP convention.
