Once again we see an Obama/abortion supporter who cannot keep to a civil debate. This time in Wisconsin where Appleton resident Mary Hogland, 83, tried to interrupt a small, private Romney event. When her outburst was vociferously opposed by the Romney supporters that were actually invited to the gathering, Hogland spat in the face of one of the elderly women present.
This gathering was part of a "Wisconsin Women for Mitt" bus tour event featuring Wis. State Senator Alberta Darling and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch who recently beat a recall election mounted by the Badger State's government employee unions.
Hogland interrupted the event questioning the Republican’s opposition to abortion and Planned Parenthood.
The small event, held in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, was by invite only, says Chris Hanson owner of the place where the event was held.
"This is a private business and we invited a small group of clients and friends. Whatever happened to grace and mercy in politics? This isn’t a town hall meeting," Hanson said.
After Hogland assaulted the Romney rally goers, she and another protester were removed from the premises to chants of, "Romney, Romney, Romney!"
Hogland was treated for scratches on her neck by paramedics after she was escorted out of the event.

Sean Hannity has repeatedly said that when he takes Bob Beckel and Chris Matthews into republican conferences, they are greeted with civil conversations. But, when he goes on the floor at a democrat convention he need body guards and is always heckled and often threatened.

Was she “escorted” by being dragged by the heels face down or was she dragged away by having a night stick across her throat?

Yeah, I watched the video. One old woman got into the face of another yelling “zip it zip it”, a few mere inches from her face, and she got spit on by the other old woman. The one that spat was interrupting and heckling, but some of the blame goes to the zip it lady. Personal space intrusion. Liberals like to heckle though and it can get frustrating.
Remember that when Senator Paul Wellstone died, Vice President Cheney, who was President of the Senate, was warned to stay away from the memorial service for his own safety.
The Old Bull Dyke has the right name Hog-land, and she is worried abortion and Planned Parenthood. Something no 83 year old need worry about.

Agreed. The spitter is rightfully condemned. The "victim" lost debate points however, when she got in the spitter's face...
I think people need to learn how to handle hecklers effectively. Humor and dismissal is a great tool against those that continue to shat on others is the best defense. Reagan was great at that. Humor is a wonderful tool. The lady that took it too personal and got in the face to zip it doesn’t understand that. The few around this lady prior to the zip it anger did a good job. Someone gets in my space, I would like just knock them out. We are dealing with liberals though. They can’t argue a point. They can’t be honest. They talk in platitudes. They talk in emotion. Reacting to them with emotion is just fodder for them. Look at the media reaction to this. Scratches. Being hauled out. They make the spitter the victim. We control ourselves.

She was taken “by ambulance” to the hospital, claiming she was assaulted. A scratch on her neck.
So WE THE TAXPAYERS paid for her ambulance ride.
