Lucas Electricals have left me stranded more times that I can count. One time driving through the city years ago I was waved to by three separate tow truck operators on the same trip.

That sort of thing stays with your for years. A sort of PTSD.

LOL. I actually had pretty good luck with most of them. It was the sidedraft Weber carbs I hated. I’ve had TR6s, MGs, TVRs, Jags, Lotus, RR and loved all the Lucas jokes, though; I’m sure you know them...

I wonder, does getting a name like that constitute grounds to sue one's parents for damages?

No. This issue has been addressed many times in lawsuits in the black community. Lashita, Female, Nushawn-Daquil and the like have all been told to simply apply for a legal name change through normal channels. They don't get a payday cause their mama found their name in a bowl of alphabet soup.

According to Wiki "dense rainforest is its preferred habitat", and there is a reserve in such an environment in Belize:

Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1990 is world renowned for being the first jaguar reserve. This "one of a kind" reserve was established as a result of jaguar studies conducted in the area by Alan Rabinowitz. Besides being the home to Belize's largest cat, the Sanctuary protects the headwaters of two major river systems and supports an abundance of hardwood vegetation and a diverse faunal assemblage.

Over 128,000 acres of lush jungle are ringed by the spectacular Cockscomb Mountains. The wonders and diversity are accessible to both the casual visitor and the serious naturalist through a series of nature trails. These trails vary in degrees of difficulty ranging from an easy hour-long stroll along the river to a four (4) day challenge of conquering Victoria Peak . The Victoria Peak trail is only accessible during the dry season and requires a permit and a tour guide (experienced guides can be hired from the local communities buffering the sanctuary).

On my itinerary if I ever make it that far south.

Well, mine was in a little rougher shape. But I still think Jags are fine cars when they’re running on all cylinders.

“Our “republican” governor just announced that they were buying 2000 acres right on the edge of my little town.”

Just another transfer of our money to their wealthy buddies. Party doesn’t matter only politics. OLIGARCHS ALL.

That's exactly what it is. $3 million seemed exceptionally high for 2000 acres with more than half of it being swampland so I did so digging into the tax records. I found one half acre parcel that was assessed at $18,000 two yeas ago that is assessed at $2600 today. Over the last few years this guy has bought over 3000 acres in the area at rock bottom prices and then selling it to the state at a hefty profit.

The big winner in this lottery was Domino's farms (Of Dominoe's Pizza) They're selling 54 acres at $2.275 million.

$2.275M grant will let Washtenaw County buy 54 acres of Domino's Farms land for preservation

Dang! We are going to have to require Harry Reid warnings before postings much as we do of all those lovely Helen Thomas warnings. Warning the following image may be disturbing to people with normal libidos:

Miller Peak Wilderness in the Huachucas, and Nature Conservancy lands west of there, toward the Canelo Hills. San Bernardino Wildlife Refuge in the Douglas area, and another whose name I forget in the Nogales/Ajo/Arivaca area.

So, what you say may be true. Regardless, The Center for Bio-Dumbness is going to continue to sue to keep us off the land.

New copper mine going into development in the area of Tucson, AZ. It will bring a ton of jobs and economic improvement to southern Arizona; but at some environmental cost.

That definitely has Kieran Suckling in a fit.
