Former Amalgamated Transit Union local 689 president Mike Golash, now an “Occupy” movement organizer, was caught on tape Sunday revealing his political goals: overthrowing capitalism in the United States and instituting a communist government.
“Progressive labor is a revolutionary communist organization,” Golash said during an Occupy DC “People’s Assembly” on August 19.
“Its objective,” he added, “is to make revolution in the United States, overthrow the capitalist system and build communism.”
Golash said he and his comrades are “trying to learn something from the historical revolutions of the past: the Russian revolution, the Chinese revolution, the revolutions in Cuba and Eastern Europe.”
“What can we learn from them so we can build a more successful movement to transform capitalist society?”

This is 100% the fault of public schools and people like me who allowed our child/children to be sent to these communist union teacher filled indoctrination centers.
If my daughter has a child I will do everything possible to make sure he/she is sent to a private school to avoid the communist indoctrination and the deconstruction of everything which made this country so great in the past.
Golash is a loser. Communism is an ideology for losers. No matter how many times communism has failed, there are losers like Golash who still continue to pimp it. I guess they just love slavery and genocide by government.

How true! Communism and socialism has been a total failure everywhere it has been tried.
After 50 years of communism, the Cubans are still trying to make the “Revolo-o-sion” work.
50 years after the American Revolution we were not still trying to make CAPITOLISM work, we were already an economic powerhouse!
I saw a photo of a hurricane hitting CUBA a few years ago. A barefoot man walking along a road with a palm leaf on his head to protect him from the rain.
I thought, “My God, after 45 years of “Revolo-o-shun” they still cannot afford shoes or umbrellas!
The problem is most people under 30 perhaps don’t have any understanding why communism is dangerous.
When you disconnect Communism/Socialism from the restraints of reality, human nature and unintended consequence, it is very easy to make it sound like the most wonderful thing in the world. It always works, everyone has everything and nothing ever goes wrong. The half-formed mind of the student is highly susceptible to this, as very few have any basis of experience that would tell them any different. This is what academia is and if we do not take it back, the consequences will be grim.
Like a lot of people, I have liberal friends who can't resist posting their inanities on Facebook. I hum the tune "I'm In With The In-Crowd" when I read what amounts to a chest-thumping expression of their perceived moral superiority. It helps me just "let it go."
My dad worked in a steel mill when he returned from the service. He was a union man when people could be shot for union membership.
By the time he retired (long before he retired), he hated the union. He always said: 'A union is a place where bad/lazy workers can hide out.'
Seeing as how everything is now made in China and almost all unionized workers are government employees, there’s a certain irony in this.

But I thought only "right wing hate groups" advocated overthrowing the US government?
