Rogers was arrested Tuesday, police said.
In a news release, police cited DNA and pathologists' examinations that did not substantiate Rogers' original statements...
"These were serious allegations that garnered national attention and spread fear among local citizens," the police statement said. "A great deal of time and resources were spent investigating Charlie Rogers' claims in hopes of identifying and arresting the three suspects in this case."

I am annoyed - actually appalled - at the lackluster reaction of gay advocates, some of whom have said on other sites that this doesn't really change anything - nor do they denounce her actions in any way.
In this piece, one goes so far to say that the perpetrator should still have massive support - why? For committing a crime and bilking money? I am disgusted by this attitude.
I am sure if a conservative faked a similar hate crime, these LGBT advocates would howl for his hanging.

Me, too. It met the MO for a fake lesbo hate crime. They carve themselves. They want attention and hope to use the fake victimhood to get what they want out of state institutions in the name of stopping the hate.
The incidents of self-serving, false reports from far left extremists of various stripes seems to run 50% or higher. And isn’t the creation of false incidents for political purposes an Alinsky tactic.
This is what happens when society as a whole agrees to pretend that the mentally ill are not mentally ill.

Omaha World Herald says they have her on film buying the gloves, razor knife, razor blades and zip ties plus a cashier identified her as the purchaser. Evidently her free education at UNL wasn’t worth the paper it was written on.
CBS might want to get Dan Rather on this story. I’m sure that he could come up with some “new” evidence not discovered during the extensive police investigation. Or perhaps, we could designate the attack as a “composite attack”. A composite attack would be one that didn’t happen but with various unrelated events could be molded into a composite attack. They might want to consult the Food Stamp President and Bill Ayers on the proper development means and methods.
There’s an epidemic of these attention whores.

I worked in an ER for over 3 years. About 90% of the “cutters” who came in for treatment were lesbos. About 90% of the lesbos were on SSI and Medicaid for “bi-polar” disorder besides in addition to being obese and making themselves unattractive with tatts, piercings, and freaky hair. But hey - we should accept them all as normal, right?
