So now we have romney confessing he is not as pro-life as he claimed he was in the primary. He’s for abortion for rape and incest. Last month he says gays should adopt innocent children. Romney is the liberal that conservatives warned about. The gop-e does not want the fight on social issues so they don’t care about conservative. Now they are talking about immigration. Why don’t they just join the democrat party? Romney WILL will lose the base.

You know America is in trouble when freeloading foreign invaders are a “sticking point” in OUR politics.

They are NOT undocumented workers -—or anything of the sort. IF you don’t like the term ILLEGAL then just call them foreign nationals-—which is also accurate. AND foreign nationals do not deserve squat from us

It is not a matter of “undocumented,” nor is it a matter of “immigration.” It is a matter of most of these felons being “illegal aliens” - aliens that do not belong here, period, regardless of whether they fulfill some labor source for selected businesses or not.

Whether they swim a river, hop a fence, burrow through a tunnel, get “muled in,” or overstay a visa, they are criminals once the act is committed.

To condone the acts by amnesty or other humanitarian programs like Obama’s new voter effort is that first act of lawlessness that just leads to others (e.g., not prosecuting blacks for hate-crimes against whites, voter intimidation outside polls, illegal searches and detainment in transportation, et al).

Putting these people in a ‘special status’ other than in jail subverts the rights of true citizens and diminishes them irreparably. The GOPe and business should know better.

So these ‘delegates’ are ‘voting’ on the GOP Platform.

Who, specifically, is actually ‘writing’ it?

Are the writers or delegates actually soliciting input from the voters whom they supposedly represent?

If not, why not?

Any discussion of Term Limits? Or are the Establishment RINO’s guarding the henhouse?

Illegal immigrants thrive in the country for three reasons.

No administration and no congress has ever taken serious steps to close the borders.

ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS fund illegal immigrants because cheap undocumented workers is profitable.

The Gubmint otherwise known as the social welfare state hands out underserved benefits and entitlements.

When is the last time you heard a politician talk about enforcing the laws against illegal employers?

Mittens got a war chest of billion dollars and lot of that money came from members of the Chamber of Commerce who do NOT want to see illegal employers held to account.

The Democrat Party elite quite wisely sees every illegal immigrant as a future Democrat voter dedicated to the enlargement of the social welfare state.

The elites of each party have political interests which do not allow them to tackle this problem.

All rightful middle class citizens and taxpayers who would like to see this illegal immigration dealt with have NO representation and NO voice on this issue because each party elite is OWNED either by the illegal employers or the illegal immigrants.

Obama has done Our Republic great harm but that is not to say that if McCain was elected that he would not have done harm as well. I believe if McCain had been elected he would have tried again to pass a veiled form of blanket amnesty and with the Democrat majorities that were in place until 2010, blanket amnesty would have passed.

The rest of the world doesn’t seem to have any trouble with immigration policy - let in any investors and advanced degree graduates who want to come and deny entry to manual laborers and welfare seekers. Why is this simple concept so hard for the GOP to advocate, instead of mindless “close the damn borders!” rhetoric?
