Of course, They have promised to keep them on the SS medicare gravy train even if it adds another $5T to the deficit, and even if the later generations get nothing for their payroll taxes that partially fund it. They need those votes.

I do not think this siutation will change until this current generation of school kids are supporting the twenty-somethings who have pasted 25 and both demographics are smaller - - as long as seniors and those over 40 years old are looking at SS and they are the major population numbers this ain't gonna change....
i just love the disconnect that is evident in SS recipient not wanting to lose their *investment* while knowing that my input is never going to be recovered...all i ask is that i can opt out and not *contribute* to the ponzi...
