This is a real howler coming from a woman replaced by a Republican after her failed policies rained as much misery on the State of Michigan as any hurricane.
But let's talk about the real issues, and that's the media.
If some obscure, no-name Republican City Councilman in some unincorporated small Southern town tweeted these exact words out after President Obama's convention was delayed by a hurricane, right now it would be the lead on Politico, Andrea Mitchell's wig hair would be on fire, Michael Steele and Joe Scarborough would've called a joint press

No. The “other guy” has been given dominion over the earth and weather. If anything ole Scratch is ticked because the GOP has a chance of winning and foiling his plans to destroy the last place that grants true religious freedom.
The hurrican is heading towards New Orleans. Now Katrina was supposed to have been steered right toward New Orleans by none other than George W. Bush cuz he hates black people. Well, that’s the story according to RFK Jr. So Carl Rove still has the weather machine?
Must have been an act of God that Republicans balanced the budget in two years when the demonrats couldn’t get it done in 8 with the Governor grandholm at the helm.

The tracks I saw at mid-morning showed it missing Tampa and heading smack toward New Orleans. I couldn’t understand why all the talking heads were still going on and on and on about what it was doing to the Republican convention.
Now the track they are using points to New Orleans and many of the models seem to be turning toward Texas. It is just heading into a place where it might get strong enough for the models to figure it out.
She definitely belongs in the Demagogic Party. Thanks cripplecreek.

I've noticed a sharp decline in basic intelligence and a increase in conspiracy nonsense here at FR within the last 12 months.
The implication of Granholm’s remark is that God is against the Republican Party because He favors the Pro-Abortion, Pro-Gay Marriage (add other immoral positions) Democratic Party. Sick!
Early, when an “average” of the models showed the east coast of Florida, it was aimed at Tampa. Later, when an “average” of the models was much further West, off the coast of Florida, it was still aimed at Tampa. Only when their projected path was well east of the models did they finally move the projected path, conveniently after the first day of the convention was canceled. These are the same folk who have canned various workers for not buying into man-made global warming - no agenda here.
