oh no!! What about Barrack Obama? He was a heavy inhaler. What’s to become of him? We need him out of the White Hut so he can get some R&R.

Barack “Choom Gang” Obama

Permanently lowered his IQ, attention span and memory problems.

Explains a lot.

Observing a few members of my family, it also sometimes destroys ambition.

I'm not sure that I agree with this premis.

It does arrest social development until you have stopped for several years but permanently lowering IQ?
I'm just not so sure that it is permanent.

OK, let’s hear from our THC Libertarian FReepers. Just let me say that personally I favor random drug tests administered roadside by LEOs to motorists stopped for cause, just like breathalyzer. No p**, no go.

I’m retired now, but it was good to know for all those years that the more doped out job applicants, the less competition for my job. Take the good with the bad, I say.

It would be impossible to prove that someone “would have been smarter” had they not been a stoner.

My alternate viewpoint: to engage in stonerhood, the IQ would have to be low to begin with.

Adults can do as they choose, but any drug use during developmental (childhood) years is inadvisable, whether it be alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, or what have you. Legal or illegal, it's just a bad idea all around.

As a libertarian who opposes the fascist War on Drugs, I nonetheless firmly believe that criminal penalties for contributing to the delinquency of minors in this manner should be substantial, regardless of whether such substances are legal or illegal.

Our President could be the poster boy. You’d have to be smoking something to think he seems intelligent.
