An article titled is where the video of The Honorable Mia Love's Speech at the GOP Convention can be viewed and heard.
Here is the speech I heard and transcribed.
Praise, in support for Mitt Romney.
Let me tell you about the America I know.
My parents immigrated to this country with ten dollars in their pocket,
and the hope
that the America that they had heard about
really did exist.
When tough times came, they didnt look to Washington, they looked within.
So the America I grew up knowing ... was centered in self reliance,
and filled with the possibilities of living the American dream.
The America I know is grounded in the determination found in patriots and pioneers,
in small businesses with big ideals.
It's found in the farmers who work in the beauty of our landscape, and our heroic military.
It's found in the Olympic Athletes
and every child who looks at the seemingly impossible and says, I can do that.
That is the America I know!
President Obamas version of America is a divided one --
often pitting us against each other bases on our income level, gender, and social status.
His policies have failed us!
We're NOT better off than we were 4 years ago,
and NO rhetoric, bumper sticker, or Hollywood campaign ad can change that.
Mr. President,
I'm here to tell you the American People are awake
and we're not buying what you're selling in 2012.
The American Dream isn't just my story.
It isn't just your story.
It's our story.
It's a story ... of human struggle, standing up and striving for more.
Our story has been told for over 200 years
with small steps and giant leaps;
from a woman on a bus ... to a man with a dream;
from the bravery of the greatest generation, to the innovators and entrepreneurs of today.
This is our story.
This is our America.
This is the America we know
because WE BUILT IT.
[CROWD: USA, USA USA
]
Thank you.
Yes we did.
Thank you. With Paul Ryan,
With Mitt Romney as President,
and Paul Ryan as Vice President,
we can restore and revive that America,
that American Story we know and love.
The world will know it.
Our children will tell it and our grandchildren will possess it for years to come!
God bless America.
This is our time.
We are truly THE ...BEST ... LAST ... HOPE ... ON ... EARTH !
Thank you.

From
Fox News:
This is Love's story:Her parents left Haiti for the U.S. 39 years ago.
Her father worked several jobs to support the family, including paying for his daughter to attend the University of Hartford, where she graduated with a degree in fine arts.
"I remember taking my dad to college with me on the first day of orientation and he looked at me very seriously, and he said,'Mia, your mother and I have done everything we could to get you here.
We've worked hard. We've never taken a handout.
You're not going to be a burden to society. You will give back,'"
Love said in an interview Tuesday with Fox News.
"It actually stayed with me," she said.
Love, who was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and raised primarily in Connecticut, moved to Utah in 1997 and married Jason Love.
She converted to Mormonism and served on the Saratoga City Council for six years before running for mayor.
Love, a favorite among the Tea Party movement, champions fiscal responsibility and limited government.
Her chief mission, she says, is to run a "fiscally sound city."
"It's not rocket science," she told Fox News.
"The most I've done is really step out of the way and allowed the economy to thrive ...
allowed businesses to come and add resources."
She went on to criticize the Obama administration for running what she described as a divisive campaign.
"If you listen to even the vice president's comments when he comes out and he says'They want to put ya'll back in chains'
... it's inappropriate," she told Fox News,
referring to Vice President Biden's controversial remarks two weeks ago in which he told voters
that Romney planned to "unchain Wall Street" and that ?"they're gonna put y'all back in chains."
Love has also spoken openly about her Mormon faith, saying that "you're going to find a lot of similarities with any Christian faith."
Her remarks could help Romney, who is also Mormon, in dispelling any public misperceptions about his faith.

I can see why MSNBC was trying to hide her message by not allowing coverage of her speech.

Excellent speech, wouldn’t it be great if the GOP-e shared her values? As it is, they’ll use her to their full advantage and have the knives prepared should she get a little too big for their liking.

I’ve been watching her for awhile and like her very much. I hope she wins her race in November. Smart, energetic and unapologetic. We need that kind of can—do candidates!

Did you also see - err, not see - MSNBC totally skipped showing Rep Davis...he was the 2nd nomination for Obama in 2008. Purposeful...of course.

I saw her interview with Neil Cavuto. He got her going and let her run. He was very complimentary something he generally doesn’t do.
I was impressed. She is a comer, the real thing. I hope she doesn’t get burned out like J. C. Watts.

Just got around to listening to Chrsite's keynote address; missed it last night.
Was ok as far as a "Rah-rah" speech, but wayyyyy to much focus on "Bi-Partisanship" (BARF!) and we can/should "all work together," BS!
That and what really pissed me off, is his (para) statement that it was "not important how we got here" (YES it is) and that there "was enough blame to go around," while true, he could have pointed out how much worse things have gotten under Dear Leader, who he did not mention by name even once.
Bet the RNC, Mitt's wuss handlers and Establishment RINO's told him to tone it down.
Glad he was not chosen as VP for he is still a RINO at heart.
