Wow. Still a lot of undecideds (13% is a big number), but if this trend holds/bears out and Akin ends up winning, I’ll be the first to admit I had this one ALL wrong. I really felt he made himself toxic with his gaffe, and thought he should step down for one of the other conservative candidates available.
Ah, well. I won’t mind eating a little crow (do I serve red wine or white with that, btw?) if it means McCaskill is defeated in November.
