This a.m. CNN interviewed the last living original member of the Diamonds and asked if he minded that the RNC used My Girl after Ann Romney's speech. (Wonder if they will similarly interview musicians after the DNC Convention.) The gentleman, an Obama supporter, said he was glad the song "transcends borders." Anyone else see this?
After all, the Peanut throwing incident isn’t giving them much ‘traction’, so they had to find a new ‘soundbyte’ to rail against.
Hilariously typical. That's a Temptations tune.
Tempts !
Who else ?
That’s the Temptations national anthem.
CNN: “Chicken Noodle News.”
The only people watching this “network” are people at airport gates. Viewership has plummeted over the past two years.
People generally watch or listen to what they like. That axiom speaks volumes about CNN.
The dems had better check with Jim Belushi before running with “Stand by your Man:”

I can’t believe the MSM are trying to pull this crap after the “stupid girl” incident with Palin. Pathetic.
Must of been thinking of Little Darlin, or maybe they confused it with Diamond Girl by Seals and Croft. They are really coming unglued.

I had heard that someone MSNBC??? had actually counted the I’s in Christies speech...
While they may have been excessive (I really don’t know) in no way could they match the usage of the 1st person when BO opens his pie hole....
And he and has other people writing his ‘stuff’.
"Tears of a Clown" should temporarily replace "Hail to the Chief"...
OMG!
What a tacky ass thing to do, CNN!
It’s nice to see that the old Motown guys still have so much class. Any current hip hop loser would have been whining all over Twitter about racism.
That IS a Temptations tune and it came out around the time they were dating. I know, because it’s one of the songs that bring back memories for my husband and I, also married almost 42 years. They make BS out of every little thing. Obama has no substance - therefore, the media has nothing substantive to talk about.
Huh? Post 15 links brings up a group of Black Diamonds and post 16 shows White Diamonds-—I be confused.
BTW: The Diamonds are still performing and they still sound great!
They put out a record in 1953 (post #15) and they’re still going 60 years later?
Sounds fishy to me...
What a stupid question to ask any recording artist! Do they mind if their song is being played? What is WRONG with people?!!!
