DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz crashes RNC

by Francesca Chambers

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair and Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz made a surprise visit to the Republican National Convention Center (RNC) in Tampa Thursday afternoon.

Shultz somehow made it through the massive security perimeter of the convention and into the convention center where the press corps is being housed this week. The convention center is next door to the Tampa Times Forum where the official RNC activities are taking place.

Dozens of reporters crowded Shultz, who was wearing a distinguishable pink suit, as she walked down the hallway of the convention center and into the Google Lounge set up inside the bloggers room. Shultz made a brief statement to cameras inside the Google Lounge about the need to support the nation’s veterans, and then promptly walked out of the room. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) also spoke at the briefing about the war in Afghanistan.

The DNC and its surrogates have an office located just outside the security perimeter of the convention, where they have been holding briefings for reporters since Tuesday. However, the DNC chair herself had not been present at any of the party committee’s shenanigans until today.

How Wasserman Shultz, who is extremely recognizable, especially to political insiders at the convention, made it into the convention perimeter, with aides, is a mystery. Most likely, the DNC had operatives obtain guest passes to the convention that they later transferred to DWS.

More from Breitbart/Big Government today (Video at link)....

....................

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Chair of the Democratic National Committee, showed up on radio row at the Tampa Convention Center at the Republican National Convention today and promptly insisted that any conservative media be ushered away. Her assistants reportedly required that National Public Radio – NPR! – issue a list of questions before Wasserman Schultz would do a sit-down. And when conservative media crowded around Wasserman Schultz, eager to ask the Chair of the DNC a question or two, her handlers complained loudly to staff, questioning why Wasserman Schultz should even be in earshot of the conservative rabble....

If the claimed racist “peanut” incident really happened, it was probably a similar penetration of our convention by the far left fringe. I’ll be glad when America regains its moral compass. Even if that process is messy and expensive, it’s time.

Nah, she just put her head down and rammed security.
Her mayonnaise-like hair gel allowed her to slip the grasp of any and all attempting to subdue her.

That, or they didn’t want to touch her with a 10 foot pole and simply allowed her through.

Somehow? Don't employees usually open doors for their bosses on demand?

I cant see this doing anything other than backfiring. It’s an incredibly confrontational and provocative action that just screams of playing to the Drm base.

That’s really how the Dems see this election. ALL of their tactics show it. But at some point they’re going to be seen by independents as worthless and distractive political theater. The questions are whether that realization will blossom before the election and if so whether it will spur a high enough turnout of indies to turn the election.

I don’t make a habit of commenting on people’s looks or what they wear, however, in this case I just have to ask, WTF is wrong with her hair, it always seems greasy, eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!

She was probably given a pass used by one of the paultards like they did earlier to help the CP fools.

They should throw this greased pig out like the scum she is.

The RNC should also ban any more Paultards from entering. They are proving themselves to be what we’ve always said they were, liberals in conservatives clothing.
