Paul Backers Aided Disruption of Ryan’s Speech (Gave Code Pink Their Passes)
New York Times ^

Posted on 08/31/2012 11:56:23 AM PDT by mnehring

The women’s antiwar group CodePink was behind the disruption of Representative Paul D. Ryan’s speech on Wednesday night, but it was in part a product of the Romney campaign’s continuing dispute with Ron Paul supporters.

“An angry Ron Paul person was like, here, take my pass,” said Laura Mills, the 21-year-old CodePink intern who was escorted out of the Tampa Bay Times Forum after interrupting Mr. Paul’s speech.

Ms. Mills and a more seasoned activist, Ann Wright, were just waiting for Mr. Ryan to say something about health care. When he did, they yelled, “Health care, not warfare” and “My body, my choice.” Ms. Mills unfurled a banner that read, “Vagina: Can’t Say It? Don’t Legislate It,” a reference to an abortion debate in Michigan when a female lawmaker was barred from speaking after referring to women’s genitals.

This is confusing??? It says she “was escorted out of the Tampa Bay Times Forum after interrupting Mr. Paul’s speech.” I thought she interrupted Ryan’s speech. Is this just a case of too many Paul’s?

Typo, it was after Paul Ryan’s speech. I’ve seen a few cases where they confuse the two names. (even saw some Ron Paul people speculating that Paul Ryan was chosen as an attack on them to try to confuse the names- LOL)

Laura Mills. Will you kids ever learn? It’s not a good idea to have your name all over the internet. You do know, don’t you, that when you apply for any job they do a background check. Why make it so easy for them?

Ms. Mills unfurled a banner that read, “Vagina: Can’t Say It? Don’t Legislate It,” a reference to an abortion debate in Michigan when a female lawmaker was barred from speaking after referring to women’s genitals.

Which is, of course, a lie. The lawmaker was reprimanded for using a hypothetical that implied she was raped by a fellow legislator.

I was sure it was Larry O’Donnell or one of the other MSNBC hacks.

“Paul Backers Aided Disruption of Ryan’s Speech (Gave Code Pink Their Passes)”

Amazing, the Paulistinians acted as trolls in real life and gave... democrat disruptors their passes.
Yet we’re supposed to feel sorry somehow for.. Ron Paul.
Ron Paul who allowed his ‘supporters’ to behave like this which ‘gave’ the GOP-e and the RNC a causus belli to do the onerous ‘rule change’.
That rule change?
It wasn’t aimed at Ron Paul.
It was aimed at Conservatives and the Tea Party.
Ron Paul and his disruptive idiots merely were the reason of excuse...

That rule change? It wasn’t aimed at Ron Paul.

I've read several reports in the past few days that it was triggered by Ron Paul people stealing delegates from Santorum through playing loopholes in the rules.

Maybe.
But the basic reason for it is the RINOs hate us, and want our influence out.
They used Paul as an excuse.

It’s interesting that Ron Paulisters gave their passes to Code Pink people.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2924879/posts

WCS posted a link to a youtube video.
In that video, Ron Paul gives airtime and facetime to... Amy Goodman of “Democracy Now!”, a good friend of Medea Benjamin...
..and a member of Code Pink.

bd476 gives the scoop.

I doubt the ‘angry paul supporter’ simply ‘gave’ his pass to the Pinko, I think itwas a planned action.

The Paultards are also declaring this is an issue they want to use to divide the Republicans.
One of many threads going back to even before the incident on the subject.
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?388301-What-if-the-new-rules-work-FOR-US

Does anyone know who actually wrote the rule change?

The Paultards had a lot of people seated as precinct leaders who were on the rules committees.

I still think there is a lot more to this story. Like that other article mentioned, it isn’t the “e” or the Tea Party that really wins with all of this. It is the Paultards and/or the Democrats.

...oops... that was supposed to be for the ‘rules’ conversation we were having on the other thread. Still germane to topic though.

It took about 2 seconds for FR posters to figure it out, and half of that was waiting for the thread to load.

LOL!

And my typos powers increase to include the all new “Post-o” where your posts hop from one thread to anotehr, truly a work of evil!
[That, and the letter thief who steals letters from your posts before they display.]

Agreed!

And people wonder why the Party pushed for rule changes... Thank the Paulistines.
