Feel lucky, punk? When Republicans chose Tampa as the site for the 2012 national convention, they didn’t do it for the weather, obviously. They saw Florida as a key to their hopes of winning the presidential election and hoped to make an impact on voters with their week-long argument for Republican control of the White House. According to a snap poll from Survey USA of 754 registered voters who watched the final night of the convention, they may have switched 10% of the vote with the effort:

You mean Biden is allowed to sit in ‘the one’s’ chair?

Ridicule is especially effective as a strategy with Obama for two reasons: 1) he is soooo thin-skinned that it makes him do stupid stuff, say dumber things, and throws him off his game, and 2) it destroys the “halo effect” that he still had to some degree. I think after Clint’s speech, Obama’s favorability/”like” responses will fall significantly, maybe 5%.

The Internet is great but... frankly I’m getting tired of other people’s opinions. I loved Eastwood — I got it — only to find the next day that it “wasn’t” as good as I thought.

So I’ll give my opinion to those who didn’t like the appearance — it was only because Clint at 82 merely reminded them of how old they, too, have gotten!!!

Wanna see Zero unravel?

RIDICULE!

Right, Jug Ears has a very thin skin and someday soon, I hope, someone, somewhere will say or do something to make him lose it and that will be pure gold for the history books!!!

The question now is who will be the catalyst, who will have the honor to help make history?

I think that Clint invented a new schtick for himself. And that he did it on purpose. Who do you think will be the most sought after convention speaker for the foreseeable future?

I still would like to see:

A fundraiser at Bristol Speedway.
It is a short track & has high, steep seating, so everyone gets a good view.

I would like to see a charge of $50 so the common taxpayer can attend.

I would like to see that $50 buy a meal, consisting of a Chick-Fil-A combo-—chicken sandwich, fries, cold drink.

I would like to see Darrell Waltrip be the MC.

I would like to see a couple of country singers—especially Hank Williams JR., be the intro entertainment. Perhaps also a couple of the active military groups which often sing the National Anthem at NASCAR races.

Have BOTH Romney & Ryan on the podium for a rally.

I am pretty sure that Bristol seats over 150,000 attendees.

That would raise about 7 1/2 MILLION $$$ for the campaign, which I think would be a new one day, one event record for fundraising.

Well, they did their best to get Romney (and campaign) to apologize for his birth certificate comment. Didn’t happen as far as I remember.

That is the Catch 22 here.

When we win - it won’t take long for Obamacare to be repealed (hopefully), so (hopefully) the nation won’t experience the full bodyblow of this monstrosity.

It won’t take the dems long at all to forget the complete destruction Obamacare would have been.

Then it won’t take them long to create the narrative that evil republicans robbed america of the best thing EVAH

They ought to get Clint to autograph that chair and then put it up for auction or maybe it will wind up in the Smithsonian either way, that chair is now VERY valuable.
