It’s clear that Barack Obama and his Democrats are out of ideas; they are using their party’s ancient and antiquated technique of painting the Republican Party as reactionary. The latest example came today courtesy of fly-by-night Los Angeles mayor and Democratic National Convention chairman Antonio Villaraigosa. Appearing on Fox News Sunday, he said that the Republican platform “looks like the platform of 1812”, adding “Reagan would be turning in his grave" to hear some of the proposals coming from the GOP.

Yeah, baby.....doesn’t matter that it was the Republicans who abolished slavery, enacted the Civil Rights Act, etc., etc.....no, I like the idea of having slaves again. I’m tired of vacuuming my own floors.
There were no Republicans in 1812—nearest thing that existed then were Federalists and their pro-England stance ruined them due to the War of 1812.
But Republicans should never, never criticize Democrats because that would drive the Independants right back into the arms of the Democrats.

The Democrats, the MSM know Obama is going to lose this election so they have to pull out all the stops now, the RACE CARD, i.e. yell racism loud and often enough.

For the longest time, the GOP was known for opposing Negro slavery, Jim Crow, racially discriminatory gun bans, and the like. Wherever black people could vote, they voted GOP, for decades. Then somehow Democrats jumped in front of that parade, tossing in some welfare bribes, and voila they stole the heart of America’s Negros.

Yep, the GOP wants the return of slavery. That’s why so many prominent black Republicans were at the convention supporting the party.
Has anyone called Mia Love a s**t or w**re yet, because she is a black Republican woman, and is married to a white man? As I understand, if we get into the gutter on these things, it’s okay for liberal black men to marry white women, but a black woman with a white man is verboten among the liberal black establishment.

The root cause and home of racial tension is now, and has always been, the Democrat Party. If more Republicans simply remembered and communicated these historical facts the sooner we might undo the damage caused by the left.
When have the Democrats ever run a campaign centered around *ideas* and concrete *goals*?
As in “We want to achieve A, B & C. In order to do this we will specifically do E, F & G.”
Ideas and goals are not ad hominum attacks on your opponents.

Never mind that Republicans freed the slaves, and enacted the civil rights bill, those too stupid to know it or research it will buy into this crap.
They can’t name a single instance when any Republican, or group, has even suggested such a thing, because it never happened and it never will.
This the same mindset that never collected Breitbart’s $100,000 reward for proof of epithets and spitting during the dems obamacare “victory parade”.

I don’t think a single person would want to “own” a slave, and most modern whites don’t even know what the “Jim Crowe” laws were, and could care less.
