Remember Hollywood is heavily unionized with a history of ties to the communist party. To be successful in that setting one has to be clever about how to respond to questions of political association. Being silent is usually not an option either when put on the spot.

A world federalist, Bridges once said, The devastation caused by war and the pollution of our environment knows no boundaries. Movie theatre attendance lowest in 20 years. Americans are fed up with the Hollywood elite and voting with their pocketbooks. Let the Clooneys, the Bridges’, the Hanks take it elsewhere. Not to mention that they make the criminal from Connecticut (Dodd) the president of the Movie Picture Assoc. of America. Not one dime for these people.
