But as the Democratic National Convention gets under way in Charlotte, major media outlets are sending President Barack Obama through the spin cycle, lobbing five high-profile bombs at the incumbent in a single holiday weekend.
The New York Times ran a front-page piece Monday with the unmistakable subtext that Obama is a hyper-competitive egotist who often is not as good as he thinks he is at endeavors ranging from politics to poker.

Seeing just enough of a hint of that it makes me believe the handwriting on the wall is obvious even to them.They need to begin to try to kiss and make up with the soon to be political winners.

Wait. The NYT article about zerO being competitive was posted earlier on FR, and everyone came to the conclusion it was a pro-Obama puff piece.
IMHO, what we are seeing is a temporary act of financial desperation. The various revenue streams that the MSM must receive to support their infrastructure, staff, and lifestyle is continuing to dry up. Without some, temporary, deviations into the “real world” outside the coastal enclaves of the MSM world they can not pay themselves enough to continue the lifestyles they have grown accustomed to.
I would dearly love to see the return rate of NEWSWEEK for the week's prior to and after their “Obama Must Go” issue and the return rate for that issue. I suspect it would look something similar to the Sports Illustrated rates in the weeks before and after their annual swimsuit edition. And, it is well documented as to why Sports Illustrated started the swimsuit issues decades ago.
Frankly, I am convinced that's how he got in the first time.
