Neil Cavuto Fact-Checks Bill Clinton’s DNC Address with Radio Host Mark Levin

On Your World, Neil pointed out how little fact-checking was done by the mainstream media after Bill Clinton’s address to the DNC Wednesday night.

“When [Clinton] asked about fact-checking Republicans, very few in the media started fact-checking him,” Cavuto said.

“The problem isn’t so much that the media picks and chooses those it wants to examine, but who it leaves out altogether. That is proof that Bill Clinton is a big deal. No one spot checks him.”

Clinton said correctly that President Obama has laid the foundation for the economic recovery.

Right. President Obama has been so petulant, arrogant, and
divisive, Romney/Ryan by a landslide and the true economic recovery will begin on November 7th.

Never understood why Clinton is somehow immune to the general public. Everyone knows he’s full of crap but so many ignore it and celebrate his greatness. A good leader does not lie through his teeth. Who would accept a boss or CEO devoid of any truth? A husband or wife, father, child, friend or coworker? It has always been that way. Obama gets a similar pas from the media, but he does not fool the general public since early 2010. He must not be as good of a liar.

Thank you, Mark Levin and Neil Cavuto.

If I'm not mistaken this turkey they were fact checking was the liar who said, “I did not have sex with the woman.”

Just saw the former CEO of American Express talking to Neil. He said the economic recovery started in the middle of 2009 before Obama did anything and that O’s policies have made things much worse. Too few economic smart people especially on TV.

“Never understood why Clinton is somehow immune to the general public.”

A lot of that is media hype; when he left office the Republicans won the White House and both houses of Congress. In hindsight people remember that at least they were working back then, but in November of 2000 the American voters vented their discontent against BJ Clinton by voting for W. If the economy was so rosy Gore would have trounced Bush; the fact is that there were already cracks appearing, and we had no other way to punish the sexual harasser.

I remember the Clinton years well. Rush Limbaugh said we kept thinking the left did not see Clinton was a scoundrel and we kept thinking just one more fact or scandal would wake them up but they did see it and they did not care. They only cared about their agenda. The Republican congress caused a good economy and Clinton got the credit and another 4 yrs. James Carvel said “It’s the economy, stupid!” Lets hope it is that way this time around.

He was pointing that finger last night. I wonder how many people thought of Monica when he was speaking and sticking his finger in America’s face.

I’ve always suspected the intelligence, morals, ethics, etc. of anyone who thinks the Slick Willy is anything more than slick huckster.

NPR actually fact checked Bill Clinton’s speech. Did you know that he was 100% accurate in 100% of the things he said? I kid you not. NPR found him remarkably accurate in everything he said.

I am sure that others saw the irony of a party that accuses the Republicans of engaging in a war on woman had Bill Clinton give the nominating speech.

Let's see, cheating on his wife, using woman as sex objects (not to mention humidors), sexual harassment, sexual assault, rape, trashing the reputation of woman who made accusations against him. My God, when it comes to the war on women, Bill Clinton is an army of one.

The Great National Amnesia: Clinton had a Republican Congress and he is taking credit for its successes, GW Bush had a Democrat Congress in his last 2 years and is still being blamed for its failures.

Never understood why Clinton is somehow immune to the general public.

Not so much the general public, but those in the media who are supposed cover him.

Yes. Agreed. Clinton got himself elected and reelected with just 43 and 49% of the vote. Never overwhelming. He has had almost zero coattails for anyone else. The democrat party lost at all levels during his presidency. They had a majority of governors and lost it, lost the House and Senate throughout. His VP lost, his wife lost in 2008. He has not had a good track record in other campaigns...no sign of any real impact. He was up in wisconin during the failed recall as ‘the guy’ who would get out all those blue collar votes. Walker won overwhelmingly.

Clinton is a talented politician, but it only seems to work when it is boosting Bill Clinton.

The Hollywood liberals I am working with at the moment were thrilled with Clinton’s speech. Said it was brilliant.

That’s right; that is a great list of what the Dems lost as Clinton put himself above the interests of his party, yet we’re still supposed to believe somehow that he is “still immensely popular”.

He is a laughingstock, and the jokes will be around for centuries (while the settlement of his sexual harassment suit for $890K is broomed under the carpet).
