Pornographer Larry Flynt Offers $1 Million For Romney's Tax Returns
NewsBusters.org ^ | September 8, 2012 | Noel Sheppaerd

Pornographer Larry Flynt is offering a $1 million reward for anyone that can produce Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's tax returns.

Adweek reported Friday:

Flynt is taking out full-page ads in this Sunday’s edition of The Washington Post and Tuesday’s USA Today that promises “up to $1 million” for the dirt on Romney’s “unreleased tax returns and/or details of his offshore assets, bank accounts and business partnerships.” (But before you go calling the Hustler hotline, be aware that Flynt will need “documented evidence of your claims.”)

The Hollywood Reporter has obtained a copy of this ad:

Readers are reminded that Flynt offered $1 million last year to anyone that could prove Republican Texas Governor Rick Perry had an affair. He did the same thing in 2010 with regard to Louisiana Senator David Vitter.

I don't mind this kind of thing, but wish Flynt would be fair and balanced by also offering a $1 million reward for Barack Obama's college transcripts and visa records.

All those in favor say aye.

Just want to remind you all that there was a time when pornographers kept themselves hidden under slimy rocks and were totally unknown.

He could be very well putting himself in legal jeopardy in the process (not that any Obama federal prosecutor would ever go after him) but he is essentially offering money for someone to commit a federal felony, which is a crime whether you are offering money to obtain protected tax records or commit murder.

What Larry Flynt is really saying:

"LOOK AT ME!!! Yoo-hoo, over here, don't ignore me because I'm very important. HEY, I DEMAND THAT YOU ALL LOOK AT ME!!"

And if it happens to be true (which I don’t think it is) that a hacker somehow got hold of Mitt’s tax records and sells them to Flynt for $1 Million then Larry will be an accessory after the fact of a blackmail operation.

Add him to the list of degenerate trash supporting Hussein. Let’s hear it for pornographers for Obama.

I assume Flynt’s and Obama’s lawyers vetted the offer - but wouldn’t almost anything he received be stolen goods and expose him to prosecution and civil liability under laws crafted to stop identity theft despite the journalist’s first amendment protections?

So, inciting a federal crime is not a crime?

If they want to play this way, Trump ought to offer $100,000 for each off the following 0bama documents: birth certificate, passport history, social security application, all three college applications, all three college financial aid applications, college transcripts, medical records, evidence of bathouse membership/attendance, evidence of relationships with dead or living gay men, Solyndra records, Fast and Furious documents.

The list is so long it might seriously dent Trump’s net worth.

Every four years this slug is defecated out from under the rock of hardened slime he lives to support and aid the Democrat party - a party which has caught up with Flynt’s high standards of intellect and morality.

However, unlike the Democrat party, he engages in indirect extortion against the republican opponent rather than the direct extortion tactic employed by the Democrats against all opponents and the American people.

The DNC should have had Flynt be one of the guest speakers at their convention - they probably would have gotten higher viewer ratings had they done so.

What is this game? If Romney is guilty of something illegal, the IRS would have already prosecuted him.

The worst that these returns could reveal is that Romney is rich, or that he knows how to use the legal loopholes to his advantage.

That would make him what? Successful and shrewd? Oh, the horror!

Kind of funny in that 0bama’s m.o. has been to dig up dirt on his opponents’ sex lives. Not being able to do that this time, he turns to this perv to try to get Romney’s tax returns.

Contrary to the title, Flynt did NOT offer a million dollars for Romney’s tax returns. He offered “up to” a million for tax returns and other stuff.

That said, if I were Mitt I’d call him out on it. It’s not like he needs a million dollars, but why not take it?

I really don’t get this. Romney was governor from 2003 to 2007. He ran for president in 2008. Aside from the fact that he’s not a criminal, he’s a very smart man. You don’t have to be intelligent to realize that you really can’t hide anything in your tax returns when you’re a public figure.

I mean, he basically went from governor of Massachusetts to running for president in 2008 to running for president in 2012. Surely his tax returns from 2006 and 2007 would be “clean” because he would understand they would need to be released. To believe there’s anything damning in them you need to believe that he felt like he could go back to some nefarious dealings in 2008 and 2009 before going “clean” again in 2010.

It makes no sense. It’s just a “Please, God, let something, ANYTHING, take the focus of our miserable failures” from the Obama campaign.

For some strange reasons, Larry Flynt looks like Donald Trump to me. That is one old, sleazy and perverted bastard. And another is a pornographer.
